In the heart of the village of San Gregorio, nestled in lush greenery and tranquility, stands a charming villa from the 1950s, recently renovated with a focus on energy efficiency and comfort. The location is perfect for those looking to explore the more authentic side of Sardinia: just 30 minutes from Cagliari and close to the Sette Fratelli Park, the house is situated near the beautiful beaches of Costa Rei, Villasimius, and Poetto.

San Gregorio is a small gem established by the bourgeoisie of Cagliari in the late 19th century as a holiday destination. Its well-preserved villas and gardens tell a story of understated elegance and harmony with nature. Nearby, the scenic Campu Omu road winds through hills and breathtaking landscapes, leading down to the sea. In the village, the tiny church dedicated to the patron saint opens only once a year, adding to the enchanting and intimate atmosphere.

The B&B features three bright double rooms on the first floor, each with a private bathroom, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a minibar. Two of the rooms overlook the greenery and the village houses, while the third offers a view of the internal courtyard and the surrounding hills. The interiors are simply and tastefully decorated in a sober style that promotes relaxation.

Breakfast, thoughtfully prepared and served outdoors in the courtyard or in the room in case of bad weather, includes fresh bread, jams, homemade pastries, yogurt, honey, juices, tea, coffee, milk, and seasonal fruit. It’s a moment of calm and pleasure, perfect for starting the day slowly.

The host welcomes guests to San Gregorio out of love: having arrived from lively Milan, she lived for years in the wild Gallura before discovering, almost by chance, the genuine beauty of this corner of the South. Walking in nature, enjoying the silence, reading in the sun, or sharing the joy of hospitality are just a few of the pleasures that become part of daily life here. Because a place like this, once discovered, is hard to forget.
Rooms and Rates
Breakfast is a special time, carefully prepared and served in a relaxed and homely atmosphere. Guests can enjoy it in the inner courtyard, surrounded by the tranquility of the village, or in their own room in case of bad weather. Each morning offers a diverse and wholesome selection: fresh bread, homemade jams, yogurt, cereals, fruit juices, milk, tea, coffee, honey, butter, cookies, and both sweet and savory artisanal pastries, with a particular focus on the seasonality of the ingredients. It’s a generous and authentic breakfast, perfect for starting the day with flavor and ease.

Hey, I'm Marzia

Marzia left Milan in 2005 to answer the call of Sardinia, where she lived for an extended period in the northern part of the island before discovering, almost by chance, the village of San Gregorio. It was love at first sight. Since then, she has chosen to live immersed in nature, surrounded by beauty and tranquility. Hosting guests brings her genuine joy; she loves to care for them and share the serenity of the area. Warm and attentive, she makes every stay a relaxing and authentic experience.

Area Collina

The B&B is situated in San Gregorio, a charming village surrounded by greenery, just 30 minutes from Cagliari. Established in the late 19th century as a holiday destination for the bourgeoisie of Cagliari, it still retains its authentic charm today, with historic villas and well-maintained gardens that reflect a long tradition of tranquility and beauty.

The area is particularly peaceful and picturesque, making it perfect for those seeking a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The surroundings offer natural vistas of rare intensity: just a short walk from the village is the scenic road of Campu Omu, which was once the main north-south route of Sardinia and provides spectacular views extending to the coast.

The location is ideal for anyone wishing to explore the southern part of the island: from here, one can easily reach the beautiful beaches of Costa Rei, Villasimius, Mari Pintau, Cala Sinzias, and Poetto. Nearby, you can also find the Sette Fratelli Park, perfect for hiking or biking, and the Molentargius Park, where it is possible to observe pink flamingos throughout the year.

San Gregorio is a place of silence, bright light, and lush nature, where time seems to slow down, and every detail invites reflection and well-being. It is a hidden gem of Sardinia that captivates at first glance.
