Located 25 km east of Cagliari, the Sette Fratelli B&B welcomes guests at the foot of the eponymous forest, in a standalone house surrounded by greenery and the tranquility of a hillside village. The project was established in 2015, inspired by the owner’s love for this historically and naturally rich corner of Sardinia that she has known since childhood. The house, renovated according to eco-friendly principles, combines energy efficiency with comfort, ensuring cool environments in the summer and warmth in the winter, thanks to a heating system and a wood-burning fireplace.

This establishment is perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, gaze at the starry sky, be enchanted by the moonlight, and listen to the sounds of nature. The owner passionately welcomes each guest, personally preparing breakfast with local products and offering valuable tips for exploring a more authentic Sardinia. In the veranda overlooking the garden, breakfast becomes an opportunity to discover legends, stories, and places often off the beaten path.

For those seeking a deeper experience, guided excursions to explore the area are available. The hostess is also a qualified hiking guide and enthusiastically leads guests through trails, villages, forests, and archaeological sites. The B&B’s library, filled with texts and videos about Sardinia, provides additional insights to deepen one’s understanding of the region.

The Sette Fratelli B&B collaborates with the nearby La Quercia B&B, making it possible to accommodate groups of up to ten people. The surrounding area offers numerous opportunities for discovery: the ancient village of San Gregorio, the Sette Fratelli forest, nuraghe sites, the town of Burcei, the beaches along the east and south coasts, the city of Cagliari, and the majestic nature of Ogliastra. Here, every detail is designed to provide an authentic, relaxing stay that is deeply connected to the local landscape.
Rooms and Rates
Breakfast is a moment that I take special care and attention to, as it represents the best way to start the day in a relaxed and genuine manner. I personally prepare it using local, seasonal ingredients, often sourced from small producers in the area. It is served on the veranda overlooking the garden, where it's lovely to indulge in the morning scents and the tranquility of the surroundings.

During breakfast, I enjoy spending time with the guests, sharing anecdotes, legends, and stories related to our land, turning this moment into an opportunity for sharing and discovery.

Hey, I'm Stefania

I am a naturalist and hiking environmental guide, deeply connected to my homeland. Six years ago, I made the decision to open my home to travelers from around the globe, with the aim of showcasing the most authentic Sardinia—one that reveals itself away from clichés and still preserves its landscapes, stories, and traditions intact. I enjoy engaging in conversations with guests, sharing tales, legends, and interesting facts that help provide a deeper understanding of our culture. I like to offer recommendations for lesser-known routes, museums, artisans, and local producers that deserve to be discovered. If you wish, I would be delighted to accompany you on guided excursions, whether during the day or at night, to explore the natural beauty of our island, including its trails, forests, rivers, coastline, and interior.

Area Campagna

The B&B Sette Fratelli is located in the Village of the Mimosa, a serene residential community nestled in the hills and surrounded by nature, 25 km east of Cagliari along the picturesque State Road 125, which is now recognized as one of the most captivating tourist routes in Sardinia. Traveling this road means traversing 25 kilometers of unspoiled landscapes, devoid of urban centers, through quiet valleys, forests, and breathtaking views.

The area is dominated by the presence of the Forest of the Seven Brothers, one of the largest and most enchanting green lungs of the island, perfect for hiking, nature observation, and complete immersion in the scenery. Nearby, there are significant historical sites, such as Nuragic monuments, ancient pathways, and small villages that retain the charm of local traditions.

Just a few minutes away, you can visit the 19th-century village of San Gregorio, while about 10 km further is Burcei, an authentic mountain town enveloped in Mediterranean scrub. In less than half an hour by car, one can discover the famous beaches of the eastern and southern coasts, featuring fine sand and crystal-clear waters, or enjoy a swim in the river in one of the most pristine areas of the region.

The B&B's location allows for exploration of both the Sardinian inland, rich in biodiversity and culture, and the coastline, with its hidden coves and marine vistas. Cagliari, vibrant and sophisticated, is reachable in about half an hour and offers museums, cultural events, restaurants, and a historic center full of charm. Finally, in an hour, you can arrive in Ogliastra, a land of spectacular and wild landscapes, ideal for adventure and nature enthusiasts.
