The Agriturismo Il Pozzo Antico is located in Mascali, at the base of Mount Etna, just 2 kilometers from the beaches of Fondachello and Marina di Cottone. Its name comes from an ancient well that is still in operation, providing water for irrigating the vegetables grown in the surrounding fields. The location is perfect for exploring some of the most captivating spots in eastern Sicily, such as Taormina, Castelmola, Isola Bella, Bronte, Acicastello, and Acitrezza.

Rosy, the owner, warmly welcomes guests and offers valuable tips to make their stay enjoyable and full of experiences. The restaurant on the premises pays homage to Sicilian culinary traditions, with dishes prepared by the chef using fresh, seasonal ingredients. The cuisine, authentic and inventive, is suitable for any occasion, from casual lunches to significant celebrations.

The five rooms, all just a short walk from the restaurant, ensure comfort and serenity. Each accommodation features air conditioning, a TV, Wi-Fi, a minibar, and a private bathroom. Some rooms can accommodate up to four guests, catering to the needs of couples, families, and groups of friends.

Among the services provided, guests can take advantage of convenient private parking, car and bicycle rentals, organized tours, and outdoor activities, including hiking, horseback riding, or excursions on Mount Etna. Upon request, it is possible to book paragliding flights to enjoy the landscape from a unique perspective. The breakfast buffet features a diverse selection of treats, including freshly baked croissants from our wood-fired oven, chocolate muffins, apple tarts, chocolate rolls, yogurt muffins, fresh fruit, toast, jams, butter, Nutella, warm toast, cereals, coffee, tea, cappuccino, and assorted fruit juices.

For those who prefer a continental option, we have crafted an à la carte menu that includes omelets, eggs with bacon, cured meats, cheeses, vegetables, and other delightful choices.
