Nestled between Avola and Noto, in an authentic corner of southeastern Sicily, Agriturismo Val di Noto was born from the vision of the Bianca family, who transformed their ancestral home in the early 2000s into a welcoming establishment set within a sprawling estate of over 25 hectares. Today, it serves as an ideal retreat for those wishing to immerse themselves in the rich countryside of Sicily. The property is surrounded by ancient olive trees, carob trees, and citrus groves, offering views of the sea, the Vendicari Nature Reserve, and the tip of Capo Passero.

The eight rooms and two suites, located within the 19th-century buildings of the rural village, have been carefully renovated to provide modern comforts, private outdoor spaces, and absolute tranquility. The Basaricò restaurant, located in the heart of the agriturismo, serves traditional Sicilian dishes made with local ingredients, complemented by the renowned Nero d’Avola wine. Breakfast is offered buffet-style amid the scents of orange blossoms and the songs of birds, setting the stage for days filled with excursions, relaxation by the pool, and nature walks.

The agriturismo's location is perfect for exploring the region's treasures: the baroque elegance of Noto, the golden beaches of Avola, the Cava Grande del Cassibile, the island of Ortigia in Syracuse, the timeless charm of Modica and Ragusa Ibla, and the maritime allure of Marzamemi. A variety of activities are available, including trekking along hill trails, horseback riding, boat excursions, winery tours, moonlit walks, and fun-filled moments for children.

Within the estate, “A Putia,” a small shop, offers the opportunity to purchase and ship the farm's products, including preserves, almonds, wines, oil, and jams. Additionally, guests can request packed lunches for their excursions, shuttle services to and from airports and main train stations, as well as free Wi-Fi in communal areas.

Agriturismo Val di Noto is much more than just a place to stay; it is a profound experience in the Sicilian land, rich in culture, tradition, nature, and restorative silence.
Rooms and Rates
Breakfast at Agriturismo Val di Noto is a special occasion designed to provide a peaceful awakening filled with authentic flavors. Served in a relaxing setting, surrounded by the scents of citrus and the songs of birds, it features a generous buffet of genuine, local products. Homemade cakes, artisanal jams, warm bread, honey, seasonal fruits, cheeses, cured meats, and typical regional specialties are offered to cater to every palate, with consideration for specific dietary needs. It’s a morning start that embodies the essence of the agriturismo: simple, genuine, and deeply connected to the Sicilian land.
The Basaricò Restaurant, located in the heart of the Val di Noto Agriturismo, offers a culinary experience that honors Sicilian gastronomic traditions in a warm and family-friendly setting. Surrounded by nature, the restaurant welcomes guests with an à la carte menu that highlights the authentic flavors of rustic cuisine, utilizing fresh ingredients, and, when possible, products sourced from its own farm.

The culinary offerings range from appetizers rich in fresh vegetables and artisanal preserves to homemade pasta dishes, and finally to main courses featuring fresh meat or fish, all prepared in accordance with traditional recipes. Special care is taken in selecting raw materials, ensuring quality and authenticity in every dish. This is complemented by a selection of local wines, with Nero d’Avola being the standout choice that enhances the flavors of the dishes served.

The atmosphere at Basaricò is made even more enchanting by the option to dine outdoors beneath ancient trees, enjoying the tranquility of the Sicilian countryside. With a limited capacity of about 35 seats, the restaurant guarantees attentive and personalized service, making each meal a moment of genuine pleasure and togetherness.
