Nestled in the serene countryside of Pace del Mela and surrounded by a 12-hectare olive grove, B&B Don Gaspano welcomes its guests in a calming atmosphere, just a few kilometers from the sea and the Capo Milazzo Marine Protected Area. The establishment is located within a 1950s farmhouse, once part of the family farm, now transformed into a stylish retreat for those looking to reconnect with nature and the slow-paced rhythms of authentic Sicily.

The five rooms, situated on the ground and first floors, each boast unique styles, sizes, and inspirations, reflecting the places and individuals that have shaped the estate's history. Tastefully furnished, they come equipped with modern amenities such as private bathrooms, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, a kettle with a selection of teas and herbal infusions, a Nespresso machine, and mosquito nets. The first-floor rooms open onto a large sun terrace with views of the Aeolian Islands, while the common areas on the ground floor include a dining room and two bright living rooms where guests can unwind with a good book or listen to vintage vinyl records by the fireplace.

Breakfast is served each morning in the lush greenery of the garden, surrounded by plants, flowers, and olive trees. The property offers free parking, access to the garden, a library with a fireplace corner, and upon request, in-room breakfast, flexible check-in and check-out times, extended parking, and transfer services to and from Milazzo and the airports. The farm also produces high-quality organic extra virgin olive oil from native cultivars like Ogliarola Messinese, Nocellara, and Biancolilla.

Don Gaspano offers authentic experiences designed to introduce guests to the local area, in collaboration with local organizations like Creative Italy. From Arabic-inspired cuisine to the tradition of lace-making, every activity immerses participants in the most genuine Sicilian culture. Last-minute experiences are available, but it is recommended to book at least three weeks in advance to ensure they take place.

Just a few minutes away are the Ponente Beach, Milazzo Castle, and the Piscina di Venere. Within an hour's drive, you can reach the Tindari Lakes, Nebrodi Park, Cefalù, Madonie Park, and Taormina. Finally, from the port of Milazzo, daily excursions and hydrofoils to the Aeolian Islands depart, making B&B Don Gaspano an ideal starting point for exploring the most captivating parts of Sicily.

Hey, I'm Vittoria

I take great care with passion of the expansive olive grove that surrounds my home, known for producing high-quality oil. The garden is my favorite pastime: although it requires effort, it brings me immense joy. I love going to the theater, I have a passion for history and cinema, and I try to travel whenever I get the chance.

Area Campagna

The B&B Don Gaspano is located in Pace del Mela, a peaceful corner nestled in the Messina countryside, just a few kilometers from the Tyrrhenian coast and the charming Marine Protected Area of Capo Milazzo. This setting is perfect for those looking to alternate moments of relaxation in nature with days of exploration among the sea, historic villages, and natural wonders.

In less than ten minutes, you can reach the beaches of Milazzo, including the picturesque Spiaggia di Ponente, which overlooks the promontory and the Aeolian Islands, and the Piscina di Venere, a stunning natural pool carved into the rock. Also in Milazzo is the Aragonese Castle, one of the largest fortifications in Sicily, offering breathtaking views.

Just over an hour’s drive away, you can discover diverse and surprising landscapes: from the ponds of Tindari, near the impressive sanctuary and the Greek theater overlooking the sea, to the mountainous scenery of the Nebrodi Park, featuring its forests, waterfalls, and scenic trails. Heading east, you can explore the Madonie Park and the beautiful town of Cefalù, or visit timeless villages like Savoca, famous for being the filming location of "The Godfather," and the ever-enchanting Taormina.

From the nearby port of Milazzo, hydrofoils and tours to the Aeolian Islands depart daily, making them easily accessible in a short time. Lipari, Vulcano, Salina, and the other islands offer unique experiences, including volcanic excursions, swimming in crystal-clear waters, and strolls through historic centers.
