Tranquility, peace, hospitality. What a wonder! We stayed at the B&B Liolà for four nights in August, choosing it as a base to visit southeastern Sicily. We could not have asked for better: upon arriving at this splendid farmhouse three kilometers from Modica, we were welcomed with the kindness and courtesy of Patrizia, a magnificent hostess, who immediately made us feel at ease and gave us many tips on places to visit, the beaches, where to eat. The rooms are spacious and meticulously cared for in every detail, the breakfast is abundant and delicious, the outdoors, with even a space available for guests with hammocks and shady trees, are an oasis of peace. It is an excellent starting point to visit Modica, Ragusa, Scicli, Noto, the Vendicari oasis, etc. The soap, jams, and homemade chocolate, the freshly picked figs, and the fresh bread in the morning in front of the door are truly priceless! We hope to return soon because we already miss it. Thank you!

The structure is furnished with great attention to detail by the owner: there is even a small fridge to keep drinks and fruit cool, very useful for long summer stays. The breakfasts are exceptional: jams, almond jelly, and chocolate, all strictly homemade by Patrizia. One morning, she even prepared fresh ricotta from the nearby farmer with toasted bread, whey, and a good glass of wine. Discovering ancient traditions. Our judgment can only be positive, and I recommend this structure to everyone. Thank you, Patrizia, for making our stay even more enchanting.

We went with friends and we had a great time. The managers are wonderful people, the structure is absolutely to recommend. The breakfasts, then, are with the products made by Mrs. Patrizia. They are also very knowledgeable about local information and the choice of the guide, Mr. Ruta, a well of information.

We went to Modica, my wife and a couple of friends. I had heard about this structure through a friend. I had doubts about the location, outside the center. Instead, I found everything perfect, exceptional, from the incredible kindness of the family that manages the Bed and Breakfast to the service. They even gave us the indication of a phenomenal guide (Enrico Ruta) that I believe is essential to visit Modica/Ragusa (beautiful!). Breakfast with excellent products made by Mrs. Patrizia; rooms furnished with taste and truly exquisite. I highly recommend.

Liolà is a place where one feels wonderfully at ease. It is located in the immediate vicinity of Modica: just enough to be out of traffic enjoying the silence and the beautiful Modican countryside, and close enough (7 minutes by car) to enjoy all the services. The rooms are spacious and well-decorated, with air conditioning and heating, and a small fridge. The bathrooms are well-maintained and equipped with everything necessary: from the courtesy kit with handmade soap to the clothes drying rack useful for longer summer vacations. The little garden outside with hammocks under leafy trees, flowers, fruit trees, and olive trees encloses this beautiful farmhouse that has been carefully restored in a tasteful and unostentatious manner. If we add to all this the warm and unobtrusive welcome from Patrizia, Francesco, and little Paola, we have the perfect vacation. Patrizia “woke” us up with fantastic breakfasts of jams, chocolate, cakes, and granitas, all naturally prepared by her with care. The recommendations for restaurants, pastry shops, as well as scenic viewpoints, the best roads to reach Ragusa, Scicli, Noto, the Vendicari Nature Reserve, and the sea were excellent and allowed us to enjoy 2 fantastic days. We left with a bit of melancholy, so we highly recommend it, and maybe for a few more days of relaxation. See you soon guys and thank you!
