The holiday homes "Brezza d’Estate" are located in Valderice, in the province of Trapani, and provide a stay immersed in the tranquility of the Sicilian countryside, boasting one of the most captivating views of western Sicily. The property consists of apartments housed within a historic 19th-century baglio and a modern residence designed to ensure comfort and hospitality for families.

The story of "Brezza d’Estate" began with the restoration of an old stone farmhouse, once abandoned, perched on the Ragosia hill between Monte Erice and Monte Cofano, overlooking the sea and the surrounding valley. This project was born from the passion and determination of a man who transformed an ancient estate into a welcoming space where travelers can rediscover the joy of relaxation and be inspired by the beauty of the landscape.

The name of the establishment emerged one late summer evening, amidst conversations and gazes towards the sunset, accompanied by the gentle sea breeze caressing the hill. Today, "Brezza d’Estate" serves as an ideal starting point for exploring the crystal-clear sea, the millennia-old history, and the culinary traditions of western Sicily, away from mass tourism.

Hey, I'm Sergio

Born over forty years ago in these beautiful lands of Erice, I have spent a significant part of my life in this charming place. Together with my brother and our parents, I manage "Brezza d’Estate," which feels like a second home to us. Our aim is to provide our guests with a comfortable stay, sharing our favorite spots and our knowledge of the area with them. I have a passion for cooking, both traditional Sicilian cuisine and other culinary cultures. I enjoy good wine, my brother's craft beer, dishes like shepherd's pie, and Trapanese fish couscous. I love exploring the many trails in the area, swimming in the sea at sunset, listening to Brazilian music, watching Argentine cinema, and tending to the garden. Whenever I have the chance, I love to travel, learn new languages, and engage in conversation with visitors, especially those from distant lands.

Area

The central location in relation to the airports of Western Sicily, combined with its proximity to the sea and the wonders of the Trapani province, makes "Brezza d'Estate" the ideal starting point for exploring the region. Within just a few minutes by car, you can reach the charming medieval village of Erice, recognized as one of the most enchanting spots on the island, the Zingaro Nature Reserve, the stunning beach of San Vito Lo Capo, the archaeological sites of Segesta and Mozia, the famous salt pans of Trapani, the historic wineries of Marsala, the old town of Trapani, and the beautiful Egadi Islands.

Nestled on a gentle hillside overlooking the sea, "Brezza d'Estate" provides refreshing evenings outdoors, allowing you to enjoy dinners on the veranda surrounded by nature. The lush greenery and tranquility of the area, away from urban chaos, along with the pleasant breeze, ensure peaceful and restful nights.

Among my favorite places is the nearby Monte Cofano Nature Reserve. Here stands the San Giovanni Tower, a historic watchtower perched above the sea, built in the 1500s to protect against pirate raids. This enchanting spot is perfect for admiring the Egadi islands and the waves of the sea on windy days, all sheltered by the majestic dolomitic cliffs of Monte Cofano.
