The Bed & Breakfast Case Zuccaro, located in a charming 19th-century Sicilian villa, is nestled in the heart of the Etna Park, in Trecastagni, a picturesque village surrounded by lush Etna countryside. Enveloped by chestnut groves and vineyards, this delightful retreat merges the exclusive ambiance of a historic residence, owned by the same family for over 200 years, with modern comforts and attentive hospitality.

The property is ideally situated for exploring eastern Sicily: from here, visitors can take day trips to Taormina, the Alcantara Gorges, Syracuse, Noto, the baroque towns of Ragusa, the Vendicari Nature Reserve, and many other points of interest. It also serves as a perfect starting point for discovering Mount Etna and the Cyclops Riviera, both just twenty minutes away by car. Catania and its Fontanarossa airport can be reached in about half an hour.

Guests can relax in the serene atmosphere of an ancient garden featuring lemon trees and spacious terraces, one of which is equipped with a kitchenette and barbecue facilities. The villa, constructed from traditional lava stone with thick perimeter walls over a meter, ensures excellent thermal stability, providing comfort in every season.

The recently renovated and tastefully furnished rooms come with every amenity: private bathroom, air conditioning or ceiling fans, minibar, satellite TV, DVD player, WiFi, hairdryer, and independent entrance. Breakfast, included in the rate, is complemented by a refreshment area with a coffee machine and kettle, and guests can enjoy outdoor spaces with barbecue facilities and tables for relaxation.

Continental coffee/moka/espresso. Discover the various flavors of our coffee paired with creamy milk, fresh blood orange juice, and delicious granitas (available in summer). Every morning, we will treat you to artisanal jams, Nutella, single-serving butter, honey, freshly baked bread and croissants, toast, and seasonal fruit.

Upon request, we also offer a selection of cheeses, cured meats, and eggs for an even more indulgent breakfast.

Case Zuccaro provides guests with the chance to immerse themselves in the most authentic Sicilian culinary tradition, all set within the enchanting backdrop of the historic villa. Each dish is crafted using fresh, local ingredients, many sourced from the Etna region, ensuring a genuine and flavorful dining experience.

We are located in the heart of the Etna Park, surrounded by enchanting green hills that extend near our facility. Strolling through chestnut groves and forests offers a truly delightful experience. The volcano is easily accessible in about 30-40 minutes by car along a scenic road that winds through fascinating lava fields. The excursion includes an initial segment by cable car, followed by an exciting off-road journey that will take us up to 3000 meters in altitude. The natural surroundings and breathtaking views will leave you with unforgettable memories of your visit.
