The Secret garden B&B is the perfect location for a pleasant relaxing holiday, in contact with nature. We are in Taormina, close to the Nature Reserve of the Alcantara River surrounded by a citrus grove with Mount Etna that offers enchanting sunsets. Breakfast is served in the garden, with fresh products, fruit from our garden and homemade cakes.

Superbe panorama sur l'Etna.

Premesso che i signori sono stati gentilissimi. Trattasi di un casale con una bella piscina. Eravamo 4 persone e avevamo a disposizione un'ala della costruzione: una stanza matrimoniale con l'aggiunta di 2 lettini improvvisati: mio figlio che è poco più di 1 metro e ottanta ci entrava con difficoltà. La posizione è ottima: anche se nelle campagne, ma vicino sia a Giardini Naxos che a Taormina. La piscina forse necessitava di un pizzico in più di manutenzione: alcune delle sdraio erano in condizioni discutibili. La colazione, a dispetto di alcune recensioni precedenti, è stata deludente. Vero è che ci è stato offerto delle marmellate e dei muffin fatti dalla signora, però non puoi presentare solo del pane a fette senza prevedere dei biscotti per il latte, dei cornetti magari anche confezionati, e quant'altro. Secondo me magari dipende dalla poca esperienza dei signori che, ribadisco, sono veramente gentilissimi.

Signor Balsamo voglio rispondere alla sua recensione, anche se con molto ritardo. Sono rimasta molto sorpresa, probabilmente lei avrà confuso il mio B&B con un altro; i lettini che lei chiama improvvisati, sono letti comodissimi che si aggiungono ad una camera doppia, per niente improvvisati. Suo figlio di un metro e 80 non era un bambino come lei ha fatto intendere e sicuramente trovare le lenzuola del lettino con piccoli tagli e con diverse tracce di penna blu, lascia un po' perplessi. Io le avevo proposto due doppie ma lei ha ribadito che voleva avere i bambini in camera. Andiamo adesso alla piscina in cui per rispetto della struttura e degli altri ospiti, bisogna seguire regole basilari di igiene, tipo la cuffietta e fare la doccia prima di entrare in acqua e cosa più importante rispettare la quiete del luogo, senza schiamazzi. Chiaramente invito i miei ospiti a rispettare queste regole ma non sempre i genitori invitano a fare lo stesso ai loro "bambini". Le sdraio erano e sono in legno di teak e vengono revisionate e ridipinte ogni inizio di stagione. Per la colazione mi chiedo cosa si possa fare di meglio: oltre ai prodotti freschi fatti in casa e prodotti artigianali a km zero, poichè capisco che non tutti abbiamo gli stessi gusti, chiedo sempre ai miei ospiti se preferiscono altro e mi impegno a portarlo in tavola. Forse lei gradiva trovare confezioni monouso di prodotti a lunga conservazione? Ne terrò conto! La ringrazio comunque perché c'è sempre da imparare...

Persone stupende e disponibili, camera perfetta, pulizia super, colazione fantastica e il feroce Billy meraviglioso..non avevo mai avuto a che fare con un cane così bello e giocherellone. Complimenti..da ritornarci assolutamente.
