The swimming pool, overlooking the citrus grove with glimpses of the sea, serves as a special area for relaxation between excursions. Additionally, a small shop is available where visitors can purchase organic olive oil and, depending on the season, lemons and oranges from the estate.

Tenute Mauro also offers unique experiences: boat trips with aperitifs along the coast, horseback riding, gastronomic tours, and guided visits to the locations featured in the Montalbano series. There are numerous destinations to explore that are easily accessible, from the beaches of Marzamemi, Cala Mosche, and Isola delle Correnti to the baroque treasures of Modica, Noto, Ragusa Ibla, Scicli, and Syracuse.

Welcoming and attentive, Giovanna is the smiling face of the establishment. With her discreet presence and deep knowledge of the area, she guides each guest through an authentic experience filled with tranquility, beauty, and Sicilian traditions to be savored slowly.

Area Campagna

Tenute Mauro is situated in an ideal location in the southeastern part of Sicily, surrounded by lush, tranquil countryside yet just minutes away from the most beautiful beaches in the area and the stunning baroque architecture of the region. Its proximity to the E45 highway interchange makes it easy to access some of the island's most captivating destinations: Modica, Scicli, Ragusa Ibla, Noto, and Syracuse, all recognized as UNESCO World Heritage sites for their art and architecture.

For beach lovers, the coastline presents a range of extraordinary landscapes: the crystal-clear waters of San Lorenzo, the untouched coves of Cala Mosche and Punta Cirica, the Vendicari Nature Reserve, and reaching all the way to the southern tip of the island at Isola delle Correnti, where the Ionian and Mediterranean seas converge. Even the small fishing villages like Marzamemi and Portopalo retain their authentic charm, rich in tradition, vibrant colors, and enticing scents.

This area is ideal for those looking to balance relaxing days at a farmhouse with cultural excursions, culinary experiences, and immersion in nature, allowing visitors to fully embrace the most genuine spirit of Sicily.
