At O'Mama Family Time, situated in a farmhouse over 500 years old at the heart of the village, every detail is designed with families in mind. Set to open at the end of 2024, this agriturismo offers an authentic stay that blends hospitality, nature, and shared moments. The spacious lofts, ranging from 40 to 55 square meters, feature high ceilings and furnishings made from larch wood sourced from the property's own forest, creating an environment that is both functional and cozy, especially for young children. Everything is organized according to the Montessori method, providing solutions that help children feel independent and secure.

The day begins in the large lounge with a generous buffet breakfast prepared with hay milk, eggs, herbs, and fruits from the farm, alongside local products such as juices and jams. This space remains available throughout the day, equipped with dishes and cutlery for a simple dinner, takeaway meals, or a cozy family gathering.

The farmhouse is a place to experience: the panoramic terrace features a sauna and a Kirami tub, while the courtyard and common areas are lively with farm animals—goats, cows, chickens, rabbits, and cats—who accompany children on their daily explorations. A creative workshop, an indoor climbing room, and an outdoor play area provide opportunities for natural fun, where imagination takes center stage and nature serves as the most genuine playground.

The wellness concept caters to both adults and children, offering tranquil spaces, reading nooks, a fireplace, a gym, and a private wellness area with a Finnish sauna and panoramic tubs for moments of valuable relaxation. Sustainability is at the heart of every choice, using natural materials, wood from the family forest, and locally sourced products.

Its central and convenient location makes it easy to leave the car behind: the train station and bus stop are just a short walk away, while Bressanone and Brunico are easily accessible with the free Guestcard. In summer, guests can set out on foot or by bike to explore trails and meadows; in winter, the ski bus connects to the Gitschberg-Jochtal slopes.

O'Mama Family Time is the dream of the Egger family—Veronika, Martin, and their three daughters—born from a desire to spend more time together and share this privilege with their guests. Here, children can simply be children, and parents can find couple time in a place that exudes wood, nature, and authenticity. It’s a vacation that truly feels like home.

Hey, I'm Veronika & Martin

We are Veronika and Martin Egger, and along with our three daughters, Mathilda Maria, Anne Sophie, and Marie Theres, we warmly welcome you into our home, which we have thoughtfully created for ourselves. O’Mama Family Time was born from a desire to reclaim precious family time and share it with those seeking an authentic break in nature. We believe in the significance of relationships, simple moments, and direct contact with the earth and animals. Our aim is for children to feel free to explore and have fun, while parents rediscover the joy of being together in a warm and familial environment.

Area Centro

The area surrounding O’Mama Family Time is the vibrant heart of South Tyrol, a region that blends majestic mountains, lush valleys, and charming villages rich in history and tradition. It is located just a few minutes from Rio di Pusteria, the meeting point between the Puster Valley and the Isarco Valley, making it an ideal spot to explore both.

The nearby towns of Bressanone and Brunico showcase centuries of alpine culture, featuring historic centers adorned with arcades, artisan shops, and lively markets. Here, one can truly experience the authenticity of a region that proudly maintains its roots through local festivals, agricultural traditions, and a cuisine that merges Tyrolean and Mediterranean flavors.

Nature takes center stage: in the summer, trails wind through flowering meadows, pastures, and forests that invite long walks, high-altitude hikes, or bike rides along the valley's cycling paths. On warmer days, the nearby outdoor pool or alpine lakes provide a refreshing oasis. In winter, the slopes of the Gitschberg-Jochtal area offer perfect runs for families, complete with ski schools and cozy huts where visitors can savor traditional dishes.

This region is also a place of culture and spirituality: abbeys, castles, and small churches scattered throughout the mountains tell stories of a captivating past. Culinary experiences abound, with wineries, farms, and alpine huts offering tastings of wines, speck, cheeses, and traditional South Tyrolean products.

Each season here offers different emotions: the vibrant colors of autumn, the scents of spring, the bright days of summer, and the enchanting atmosphere of winter. It creates a unique backdrop for a vacation that combines nature, culture, and relaxation.
