She resides permanently in one of the apartments of the Main House, just a short distance from the guest accommodations, ensuring a careful yet unobtrusive presence. With a deep passion for the land and the traditions of Garfagnana, Michela has transformed the family farm into a welcoming and sustainable venture, pursuing a project that combines hospitality, organic farming, and well-being. Her decision to convert the entire production to organic, culminating in ICEA certification, reflects her commitment to a lifestyle that respects both the environment and people. As a professional sommelier, she also welcomes guests in the tasting room, where she leads authentic culinary experiences, sharing stories about local products and promoting the work of small producers in the area. Her hospitality is warm and attentive to every detail, making everyone feel at home in a place that embodies nature, history, and human warmth.

The area where Agriturismo Cornali is located is a pristine corner of Garfagnana, a region nestled between the Apuan Alps and the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, renowned for its lush nature, charming stone villages, and a vibrant rural tradition. We are situated in Fabbriche di Vergemoli, a municipality formed from the merging of two historic mountain settlements, set in a valley crossed by the Turrite stream and surrounded by forests, chestnut groves, and scenic trails that invite leisurely exploration.

This region is perfect for those who enjoy nature walks, trekking, mountain biking, and all outdoor activities. Among the most captivating natural attractions are the Grotte del Vento, one of the most spectacular karst complexes in Europe, featuring stalactites, stalagmites, underground lakes, and crystal formations that can be visited year-round. Not far away lies the Orecchiella Park, a vast protected area inhabited by deer, mouflons, roe deer, and, with a bit of luck, even brown bears.
