Podere Casano is located in Radicofani, at the heart of the Val d’Orcia, one of the most captivating areas of Tuscany, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Our property’s prime location allows guests to fully experience the Tuscan landscape, characterized by rolling hills, cypress trees, golden fields, and historic villages rich in tradition.
Just a short drive away, you can reach the famous free hot springs of Bagni San Filippo, nestled in a picturesque forest, as well as those in San Casciano dei Bagni, known for their warm and rejuvenating waters. Nearby, you'll also find iconic towns like Pienza, celebrated for its Renaissance views and renowned pecorino cheese, Montepulciano, and Montalcino, perfect destinations for wine lovers, along with Monte Amiata, which is ideal for hiking year-round.
The area is traversed by the Via Francigena, an ancient pilgrimage route that can now be explored on foot or by bike, offering a blend of nature and spirituality. During the summer months, the surrounding villages come alive with local festivals and traditional celebrations, where you can savor authentic Tuscan cuisine and immerse yourself in a genuine, friendly atmosphere.
Our agriturismo is surrounded by unspoiled landscapes, home to wildlife and farms that keep agricultural traditions alive. Here, you can stroll through the woods, unwind in the tranquil embrace of nature, and discover a more intimate side of Tuscany, away from the crowded tourist spots but close to all the beauty this land has to offer.
