  • Romantic atmosphere
Amidst the rolling hills surrounding Volterra and San Gimignano, Agriturismo Vaianino offers you a true refuge where time slows down and nature takes centre stage. This corner of Tuscany, located 400 metres above sea level and immersed in 190 hectares of wheat fields, olive groves and woods, offers endless views and a warm, family atmosphere.

Carefully restored using original materials, such as handmade terracotta and chestnut beams, the historic residence has five flats with one or two bedrooms, plus an additional unit in an annexe. The apartments are furnished in rustic style with antique furniture and are equipped with every comfort: independent entrance, independent heating, kitchen with dishwasher, electric oven and NESPRESSO coffee machine, living room with sofa bed and satellite TV, bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Some flats are particularly spacious and specially adapted to accommodate disabled guests.

Guests can enjoy a panoramic triple-depth swimming pool, barbecue facilities, a terrace with wooden tables, a children's playground, a football pitch and a table tennis table. There is also a common room with washing machines.

The on-site restaurant is for the exclusive use of guests and serves traditional Tuscan dishes, prepared with organic ingredients from the farm and local producers. The agrichef Marzia infuses every dish with genuine passion, offering specialities such as ribollita, wild boar stew, rabbit with vernaccia wine, basil tomato sauce and homemade desserts. The dinner, by reservation only, takes place every Tuesday and Friday from April to September and allows you to experience a delicious Tuscan story told with authenticity and love.
Rooms and Rates
Our restaurant was born from the desire to offer you an authentic taste of Tuscan cuisine, characterized by simple gestures and genuine ingredients. In the kitchen, you will find me, Marzia, and each dish I prepare tells a story of family, countryside, and the changing seasons reflected in flavors. We primarily use organic products from our own farm and carefully select raw materials from local sources that share our philosophy.

At the table, you can enjoy dishes such as ribollita, stewed wild boar, rabbit with Vernaccia, pici with tomato and basil sauce, as well as homemade desserts like tarts, cantuccini, and panna cotta. We also offer vegetarian options, lovingly crafted for those who prefer garden-fresh flavors. Our dinners, available by reservation on Tuesdays and Fridays from April to September, provide a special opportunity to gather, share stories, and feel like part of our family.

Hey, I'm Marzia

Area Collina

At Vaianino, the pace of life aligns with your desires: you can either fully indulge in relaxation or fill your days with new adventures. Our stunning infinity pool awaits you for moments of pure bliss, where the water meets the sky and the Tuscan hills turn golden at sunset. Children can play freely and joyfully in the designated play area, featuring slides, swings, soccer games, and ping pong challenges, while parents can unwind knowing that everything has been designed with their safety in mind.

For those who enjoy active experiences, the countryside offers opportunities for horseback riding, mountain biking, and e-bike excursions, as well as truffle hunting, thanks to activities organized by local providers. The surrounding area is filled with wonders: within minutes, you can reach Volterra and San Gimignano, along with medieval villages, castles, Romanesque churches, and hidden corners where time seems to stand still.

Each season breathes new life into our countryside. In spring, you can discover wild herbs; in summer, the garden overflows with colors and fragrances, while autumn brings the time for harvesting and olive gathering, moments that reflect the most authentic farming traditions.

There are plenty of opportunities to savor the fruits of our land through tastings of organic products cultivated with care and respect for the environment. For those who appreciate a leisurely pace, we offer an exclusive trail that winds through our hills, amidst wheat fields and olive groves, inviting you to reconnect with the natural rhythm of your heart and mind.

For those eager to get hands-on, we organize cooking classes where both adults and children can learn to make traditional dishes like pici and cantuccini, in an authentic and enjoyable experience that carries the flavors of our home.
