In addition to unforgettable breakfasts (it's quite common to see a local enjoying a slice of lard and beans at 10 in the morning with a glass of red wine), we will delight you at lunch with a wide array of local specialties: bruschettas, various crostinis, cured meats, cheeses, and pickled vegetables, allowing our guests to unleash their culinary creativity by crafting all kinds of sandwiches and diverse first courses each day!
On some days, we offer lighter dishes, such as fresh salads with tomatoes and mozzarella, the traditional Tuscan panzanella, or cold spelt soup; on other days, which are much more frequent, we serve traditional dishes from our cuisine: pici with mushrooms or truffles, soups, risottos, pici with garlic, pappardelle with wild boar or hare sauce, tripe, osso buco, ribollita, pappa al pomodoro, peposo, and much more!
It goes without saying that the wines are strictly local and of the highest quality: Chianti from the Colli Senesi, Chianti Classico, Vernaccia. This is the same wine we enjoy ourselves, so you can be assured of its excellence: as grandpa Quinto would say, “it’s good wine.”
If you decide to stop by, you can grab a generously filled sandwich and a drink to take away, or choose to settle into our loft and order the daily specials.
