Hey, I'm Bianca

Before introducing myself, I am Bianca, the owner of this charming house and the founder of Ca' Bianca. I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who has contributed to and continues to enhance this place, making it increasingly beautiful and welcoming. There are many people who support me, and their involvement varies depending on their availability. Our home and the surrounding land are spacious and require dedication; often, friends and family offer to help me in exchange for a pleasant barbecue. At times, even the barbecue is absent as a reward for their efforts, and in those moments, I realize I have loyal friends and dear relatives by my side. I don’t want to bore you with a long list, but it was important to make this point. I bought this house 11 years ago, but the renovation work began in 2008 when I decided to embark on a new path in my life. My passion is caring for people and contributing to their well-being, and so, brick by brick, in 2009 I finally opened the doors of my B&B, a dream I had nurtured since childhood. Now that I have crossed the threshold of 40, I can say that I have found my way. My life partner, Lorenzo, is a valuable ally in maintaining and completing the spaces of the house and garden. Above all, he constantly supports me, giving me the strength and courage needed to face every challenge with enthusiasm and determination. Alessandra is a key collaborator in managing the house, cleaning the rooms, and handling the laundry; she is a cheerful person, and I have formed a bond with her that goes beyond mere work. Vanessa, the newest addition to our team, works alongside Alessandra in maintaining Ca' Bianca. My beloved parents and wonderful in-laws also provide invaluable support, each with their unique skills and inclinations. Finally, I cannot forget to mention the furry members of our family: the kitten Mimì and the dog Carmine, the true ambassador of Ca' Bianca.

Area Collina

Ca’ Bianca is located very close to Sarzana, a beautifully preserved and vibrant medieval town that serves as the natural capital of Lunigiana. Just a few kilometers away are the famous marble quarries of Carrara and Colonnata, renowned for its lardo.

The property borders Versilia, known for its beaches, shopping opportunities, and lively nightlife. Additionally, it is a short distance from the charming art cities of Pietrasanta, Lucca, and Pisa. From Ca’ Bianca, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the mouth of the Magra River, at the edge of the Gulf of La Spezia, Portovenere, and the island of Palmaria, not far from Lerici and Fiascherino, in the picturesque Gulf of Poets. The famous Cinque Terre, as well as the Magra Natural Park and Monte Marcello, are easily accessible.

This is just a small glimpse of the wonders that can be discovered with a simple stroll (either on foot or by bike) or in less than thirty minutes by car. It’s also worthwhile to explore destinations reachable in under an hour, such as Livorno and the Gulf of Tigullio, or Cerreto Laghi, a green mountain ski resort, the Lagastrello Pass, and the park of a hundred lakes.
