Hey, I'm Francesca

My name is Francesca, and I come from the beautiful city of Florence. A few years ago, motivated by my love for tourism and the countryside, I decided to move to the heart of Chianti with my daughter Lisa, who is now 17. I appreciate the simple things in life and good food, and together with my sister Mariella, I run our family trattoria, where I personally prepare delicious dishes. My passion for genuine products led me to open a charming little shop in the square of Dudda, near the church, called "La Dispensa." Here, visitors can find a selection of sauces, preserves, and jams, all made using traditional homemade methods. "La Dispensa" also serves as a space for local products, where artists, friends, and businesses from the area display their creations, such as ceramics, hand-decorated items, and wines from the best local farms. In my spare time, I tend to my small vegetable garden in the yard, where I grow tomatoes, wild chicory, and fresh onions, so I can enjoy the fruits of my labor and offer my guests the authentic flavors of our land.

Festivals, starry night markets, concerts, and the famous Chianti Classico wine exhibition bring the town to life throughout the year, offering visitors an authentic and engaging experience.
