Corte Capitani is a guest house located in the heart of the Lucca Plain, in Capannori, in a peaceful and quiet area. The establishment is the result of renovating an ancient stone barn, restored with great attention to detail and enhanced by the characteristic terracotta decorations typical of Lucca. The renovation, completed in 2009, preserved the authentic charm of the building while enriching it with handcrafted furnishings made by local carpenters, blacksmiths, and gilders.

Its central location allows easy access to all essential services, such as grocery stores, bakeries, rotisseries, ice cream shops, banks, and a post office. The residential setting offers a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for walks, bike rides, or a dip in the nearby public swimming pool.

The six rooms, divided into doubles and singles, are carefully decorated and named after typical animals found in Lucca’s courtyards, featuring designs inspired by them. Each room comes with a private bathroom equipped with a shower and hairdryer, air conditioning, and an LCD TV. Common areas include a covered porch and a spacious outdoor relaxation area furnished with comfortable seating. Parking is available for guests.

Corte Capitani has been designed with respect for the environment, implementing eco-friendly solutions to reduce resource consumption. The building features insulated walls, wooden and aluminum fixtures, as well as solar and photovoltaic panels. The materials used for the renovation are natural, including traditional terracotta bricks that have been fired using conventional methods and treated with natural dyes. The garden and porch lighting consists entirely of energy-efficient options, contributing to a comfortable and sustainable stay.
Rooms and Rates
Every guest has the opportunity to prepare breakfast at their preferred time, using the available ingredients: coffee, tea, chamomile, fruit juices, yogurt, jams, honey, toast, and delicious pastries are always ready to be enjoyed. Occasionally, we also receive sweets from our trusted bakery: true delights!
The well-equipped kitchen is also perfect for families with children, allowing them to warm up milk and baby food, making the holiday even more convenient and relaxing.
