At Da Lavinia B&B, guests are welcomed into a charming villa nestled in the countryside of Marsiliana, surrounded by olive trees and lush green fields. Once the vacation home of a Calabrian partisan, it has been carefully renovated to provide a comfortable and authentic stay. The interior spaces, redesigned and furnished with restored antiques alongside her husband Lamberto, tell the story of the owner and her deep connection to Maremma, her adopted home for over forty years.

The property features two double rooms with private bathrooms, designed to ensure intimacy and attention to detail. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator and can enjoy a traditional Italian breakfast that includes tea, coffee, cappuccino, milk, pastries, biscuits, honey, jams, and yogurt, along with home-grown fruit. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the common room or outdoors on the porch when the weather permits.

The location is perfect for exploring Maremma and its attractions: the sea and beaches of Argentario, the Saturnia hot springs, Capalbio with its enchanting Tarot Garden, and the surrounding hilltop villages are all easily accessible. For those who prefer a more independent stay, the family-run agriturismo "La Fontanina," located next to the B&B, offers mini-apartments and a studio.

Da Lavinia B&B is not just a place to sleep, but a home where you can experience genuine hospitality, treating every guest as sacred and making each stay a cherished memory to take with you.

Hey, I'm Lavinia

My name is Lavinia, I was born in Rome, but for over forty years, I have been living in Maremma, a place I now consider my true home. I decided to open my B&B to share my love for this area and the welcoming atmosphere of my home with travelers. Together with my husband Lamberto, I have carefully renovated and decorated every space, keeping the comfort of our guests in mind. I strongly believe that "the guest is sacred" and I strive to make every stay a special experience, filled with genuine care and moments of tranquility in the natural beauty of Maremma.

Area Campagna

Marsiliana is a village nestled in the Tuscan Maremma, a region where untamed nature blends with landscapes of exceptional beauty. Here, open fields give way to Mediterranean scrub forests, ancient olive groves, and gentle hills that lead down to the crystal-clear waters of Argentario. This area is ideal for those who enjoy discovering authentic places still connected to farming traditions and a slow, relaxed pace of life.

Within a short distance from the B&B, you can reach the beaches of Capalbio, Ansedonia, and the famous coves of the Argentario promontory, perfect for sunny days by the sea. For those who prefer the countryside, the Saturnia hot springs provide moments of pure relaxation amidst sulfuric waters and unspoiled landscapes. Culture enthusiasts can explore medieval villages like Magliano in Toscana and Capalbio, home to the renowned Tarot Garden, a unique artistic creation.

The Maremma is also a land of flavors: from DOC wines like Morellino di Scansano to extra virgin olive oils, not to mention the traditional dishes of Maremma cuisine, which range from game to local cheeses. With opportunities for horseback riding, cycling, and walks through nature and history, this region offers a variety of experiences for an authentic Tuscan holiday, away from mass tourism and immersed in the tranquility of the countryside.
