A spacious, evergreen garden surrounds the property, providing an ideal spot to unwind beneath an ancient oak tree, a true natural marvel. Each room has a private entrance from the porch and an en-suite bathroom, equipped with all the comforts to ensure a pleasant and relaxing stay. A traditional tavern is just a short walk away, where guests can enjoy breakfast and snacks, with the option to use a small kitchenette.

The Agriturismo il Cantiniere is nestled in the beautiful Tuscan countryside, just 5 km from the renowned Terme di Saturnia, famous for their sulfurous waters that maintain a constant temperature of 37.5°C, providing a wellness experience suitable for all seasons. These waters, known since ancient times, are the center of a legend rooted in Roman mythology: it is said that the god Saturn, enraged by the endless wars among humans, struck the earth with a lightning bolt, causing sulfurous water to emerge from a volcanic crater, which, with its soothing warmth, brought peace and wisdom to the people.

The Saturnia area, the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, remains a place of great charm and tranquility, with water gushing forth at an impressive rate of 800 liters per second. Its rich history is also marked by past hardships: during the Middle Ages, the Maremma faced raids and attacks from Orvieto and Siena, and it was not until 1828, thanks to the initiative of Duke Leopoldo II, that reclamation works began, repopulating the area and improving sanitary conditions.
