The farmhouse collaborates with the Sapereta Agricultural Company to create the wines 'Elba Bianco' and 'Elba Rosso', which are true expressions of the region. In the garden, a flourishing citrus grove supplies the oranges and lemons used to make artisanal jams without preservatives, crafted according to traditional methods to enhance their natural flavor. Every detail, from the selection of ingredients to the care of the surroundings, is designed to offer guests an authentic experience amidst nature, relaxation, and genuine flavors.

Area Campagna

The Bed & Breakfast Il Casale di Monserrato is located a short distance from the picturesque Porto Azzurro, just a 5-minute drive from the town center, nestled in the charming Monserrato valley.

From Portoferraio:
After leaving the port, head inland and follow the provincial road SP24. At the Carpani junction, take the provincial road SP26 towards Porto Azzurro. As you travel through the island's interior and pass the Gulf of Mola, you will arrive at the quaint town of Porto Azzurro.

From Porto Azzurro:
Drive along Viale Italia, the tree-lined avenue, with the sea behind you, heading towards Rio Marina. As you exit the town, the provincial road ascends a hill, passing the San Cerbone cemetery and slowing down towards Barbarossa. Just 10 meters before the turnoff to Barbarossa beach, you will see another turnoff to Monserrato on the left with our sign clearly visible. Leave the provincial road, and once on the new road, follow the signs for the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Monserrato. After about 700 meters, on the left, you will see the famous MONTE PINE of Monserrato (affectionately called Nonno Pino); continue for another 300 meters, and the Casale will be right in front of you.

From Cavo:
Follow the signs to Rio Marina and Porto Azzurro.

From Rio Marina:
Upon leaving the port area, turn left towards Rio nell'Elba and Porto Azzurro. After following the provincial road SP26 nearly to Rio Elba, take the roundabout towards Porto Azzurro. The road climbs up and then descends towards Porto Azzurro. Just before reaching the town, you will find a left turn for Barbarossa beach. 10 meters before that, on the right, is the turnoff for Monserrato. Turn right and leave the provincial road; once you are on this road, follow the signs for the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Monserrato. After about 700 meters, you will discover the well-known MONTE PINE of Monserrato (Nonno Pino) on the left. Continue for another 300 meters, and the Casale will be waiting for you.
