Podere al Fico B&B

Area Campagna

The area surrounding L’Antico Podere al Fico B&B is one of the most captivating regions of the Tuscan coast, blending the beauty of rolling hills with proximity to the sea. We are located in the heart of the Costa degli Etruschi, a stretch of coastline that runs from Livorno to Piombino, famous for its sandy beaches and clear waters, which are awarded the Blue Flag each year. Here, you will find a variety of landscapes including pine forests, dunes, cliffs, and hidden coves, making it ideal for those who enjoy exploring or simply unwinding by the sea.

Behind the coastline, the inland areas offer picturesque views and routes through hills adorned with vineyards, olive groves, and cultivated fields. Medieval villages such as Bolgheri, Castagneto Carducci, and Suvereto maintain an authentic atmosphere, featuring stone alleys, wine shops, and artisan boutiques. Bolgheri, in particular, is renowned for its famous cypress avenue and the production of outstanding wines, including some of the most celebrated Supertuscans.

The region is also perfect for active tourism: hiking trails, cycling routes, and natural parks like Rimigliano and Sterpaia provide endless opportunities to immerse yourself in nature. For archaeology enthusiasts, the Etruscan necropolises of Populonia and Baratti are easily accessible and offer a chance to explore the ancient roots of this land.

Easily reachable by car are also cultural cities such as Pisa, Lucca, Volterra, and San Gimignano, providing a perfect balance of relaxation, culture, and nature.
