In the heart of Chianti, nestled between Florence and Siena, Podere Felceto is a family-run organic agriturismo that welcomes its guests in a setting of genuine Tuscan hospitality. Located just 2.5 km from Panzano in Chianti, the estate spans 21 hectares of land cultivated with olive groves, vineyards, and woods, crossed by an ancient Roman road and overlooking the Pesa River. The property, a former 15th-century convent converted into a farmhouse, is now a tranquil oasis set in a charming hilly landscape, far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Podere Felceto offers various accommodation options, perfect for couples, families, or groups of friends. The main villa can accommodate up to 13 guests, featuring spacious and well-appointed areas with fireplaces, bright living rooms, and panoramic terraces. The Barn, which is independent, is designed for 5-6 guests and has a private garden with a gazebo. Additionally, there are three cozy B&B rooms: the Cottage, with its own entrance and outdoor space; and the Cipresso and Olivo, located within the La Quercia complex, furnished in a rustic style and equipped with all modern comforts.

The ecological saltwater pool, surrounded by greenery, is exclusively for guests' use. There are also opportunities for culinary experiences and socializing: breakfasts featuring local products, dinners under the pergola with traditional dishes prepared by the chef or family, tastings of their own organic extra virgin olive oil, as well as cooking and pizza-making classes. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy hiking, biking, or exploring nearby medieval towns such as Castellina, Radda, Volterra, and San Gimignano.

The Del Mastio family, who have been running the estate since 1998, welcomes every guest with the intention of making them feel at home. Their attention to detail, respect for nature, and passion for country living are evident in every corner of the property, providing an authentic and rejuvenating experience amidst the scents, colors, and flavors of Tuscany.
Rooms and Rates
Breakfast at Podere Felceto is a moment of simple and genuine pleasure, designed to start the day with flavor and tranquility. Served in a cozy setting or outdoors on sunny days, it features a selection of local and seasonal products: fresh bread with butter and homemade jams or honey, cheeses, cured meats, yogurt, fresh fruit, natural juices, coffee, tea, and milk. This offering reflects a commitment to quality and tradition, perfectly aligned with the family-oriented and authentic style of the agriturismo.
At Podere Felceto, the joy of dining is experienced in an intimate and authentic setting, where every meal is crafted to make guests feel at home. Rather than a traditional restaurant, there are reservation-only culinary experiences that highlight the flavors of the region and the warmth of Tuscan countryside hospitality.

The dinner with the Chef, exclusively for Villa guests, offers a unique opportunity to savor exquisite dishes made with seasonal ingredients, served under the pergola by candlelight, with the sunset over the Chianti hills as a backdrop. Alternatively, the home-cooked dinner features rustic recipes from the family tradition that are simple and genuine, ideal for those seeking the warm, informal atmosphere of a lived-in kitchen.

In addition to these experiences, guests can take part in tastings of organic extra virgin olive oil produced on-site since 1999, accompanied by platters of selected local products. There is also the option to join Tuscan cooking classes or pizza-making lessons led by experts, providing insights into the secrets of traditional preparations.

Every morning, breakfast is served with a selection of fresh, local items: bread, butter, jams, honey, cured meats, cheeses, yogurt, seasonal fruit, juices, coffee, milk, and tea. It is a moment of relaxation and enjoyment to start the day in the tranquility of the countryside.

At Podere Felceto, food is an integral part of the experience: it tells a story of family, the land, and genuine hospitality.

Hey, I'm Yara

Podere Felceto is passionately and devotedly run by the Del Mastio family, who have been transforming this corner of Chianti into a welcoming and authentic retreat since 1998. Roberto, who grew up among these hills, and Jussara, originally from Brazil, decided to establish their life project here, merging their stories into a shared dream: to provide warm and genuine hospitality. Today, along with their daughters Yara and Sara, they continue to care for the property with the same enthusiasm as when they started, instilling in their guests a profound sense of belonging to this place. Every detail is designed to make newcomers feel like part of the family, in a serene atmosphere surrounded by nature and Tuscan culture.

Area Campagna

Podere Felceto is located in the heart of Chianti Classico, halfway between Florence and Siena, in one of the most iconic and enchanting areas of Tuscany. The property is surrounded by a harmonious hilly landscape, where rows of vines, ancient olive groves, and lush forests create a scene of rare beauty. Its location, just 2.5 km from the medieval village of Panzano in Chianti, ensures absolute tranquility while remaining close to amenities and cultural attractions.

The estate is situated at the end of a little-used dirt road, away from traffic and noise, making it particularly suitable for families with children and for those seeking to rejuvenate in the peacefulness of nature. This natural hollow in the hillside offers spectacular views of fiery sunsets, woodlands crisscrossed by ancient paths, and fields cultivated according to organic farming principles.

The area is renowned for its exceptional wine production: Chianti Classico. Surrounding it are farms, historic wineries, and small local producers who welcome visitors for tastings and guided tours. Culinary traditions remain vibrant and are reflected in the typical dishes offered by local trattorias.

Within a short drive, you can reach some of the region's most charming villages: Greve in Chianti with its famous market and porticoed square, Castellina and Radda with their cobblestone streets, and Volpaia and Montefioralle, which are authentic medieval gems. Slightly further away, yet easily accessible, are cultural and artistic destinations like San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, and Volterra, not to mention Florence and Siena, both about 30 kilometers away.

The area is also perfect for outdoor enthusiasts: walks, trekking, cycling, and horseback riding allow for a leisurely exploration of the Tuscan countryside, following the natural rhythm of the seasons. Podere Felceto serves as an ideal starting point for discovering this authentic and poetic part of Tuscany, where history, nature, and culture blend into a timeless harmony.
