Behind Agriturismo Prati degli Orti, you'll find us: Maria Elena, Diego, and our little Rachele. Since 2009, we have chosen to live immersed in nature and welcome travelers to this corner of Maremma that we feel is truly ours. I, Elena, after spending years in Rome as a management engineer, decided to leave my job to fully dedicate myself to this venture, driven by the desire to provide authentic and attentive hospitality. Diego, trained and passionate about agronomy, manages our crops with the same care that we extend to our guests. Together, we nurture the land and our home, believing that every small gesture helps make the stay a memorable experience. What we love most is seeing our guests feel at home, relaxing amidst the scents of the countryside and the genuine flavors of our table, discovering together the culinary delights of this region. Every day, we strive to share the love we have for Maremma and to ensure your stay is filled with simplicity, warmth, and thoughtful details.

From the Agriturismo Prati degli Orti, the view opens up to an authentic corner of Maremma, where nature presents scenes that change with the seasons and the light of day. The hills, sun-drenched in the summer and dotted with olive trees and vineyards, are adorned with the golden hues of wheat and the vibrant green of the foliage. The rows heavy with grapes tell the story of a land destined for wine, ready to offer the renowned Morellino di Scansano. In the background, the deep blue of the sea and sky frames this still pristine landscape, caressed by a gentle Mistral breeze that makes even the hottest days enjoyable.

At sunset, the colors ignite and reflect on the sea, providing breathtaking views that leave one speechless, while night falls, bringing its silence and starry sky, restoring a serenity that is hard to describe. Those who stay here discover the joy of experiencing the most authentic Maremma, enjoying moments of relaxation by the pool or in the shade of the large fig tree, and savoring genuine flavors from breakfast to aperitifs, prepared with zero-kilometer products from local small producers.

The location is perfect for exploring the area. Montiano, a small hamlet in the municipality of Magliano in Toscana, is nearby and retains the charm of a medieval village still surrounded by walls. In less than ten minutes, you can reach Talamone, the Maremma Park, and the Gulf of Argentario, while in just over half an hour, you can visit the Saturnia Thermal Baths, Pitigliano, Castiglione della Pescaia, and the coastal gems like Porto Santo Stefano, Porto Ercole, and Giglio Island.

Maremma offers endless opportunities to fully experience the territory: hiking or horseback riding excursions, boat trips or lagoon explorations, fishing tourism, visits to wineries and Etruscan sites, gastronomic experiences, and moments of relaxation in WWF oases or thermal baths. Sea lovers can choose between golden beaches and hidden coves or engage in water sports like kite surfing, surfing, and canoeing, to savor every nuance of this generous and welcoming land.
