Villa Sargiano is a wellness retreat nestled within the 10 hectares of the Sargiano Forest Nature Reserve, just 5 minutes from the historic center of Arezzo. Surrounded by olive trees, oaks, cypress trees, and holm oaks, the villa provides a rejuvenating atmosphere thanks to the pure forest air and the spring water at a temperature of 23 °C, making it perfect for relaxation and restoring physical and emotional balance. The six suites and apartments, furnished in a Tuscan country style, feature private bathrooms, complimentary Wi-Fi, fenced parking, and in some cases, equipped kitchens and direct outdoor access.

During your stay, you can engage in Shinrin-Yoku, the Japanese practice of "forest bathing," which helps reduce stress, enhance sleep quality, and boost the immune system. The villa is bordered by walking paths, a flower garden that attracts butterflies and small wildlife, and a summer pool filled with spring water.

Its location is ideal for exploring the beauty of Tuscany and central Italy: Siena, Perugia, and Florence can be reached in under an hour, while Cortona, Lake Trasimeno, the Val di Chiana, and the Casentino are about 30 minutes away. Arezzo boasts a rich historical and artistic heritage, events like the Giostra del Saracino, and a celebrated culinary tradition.

Villa Sargiano also welcomes small to medium-sized pets, permitted upon reservation, specifically in ground-floor rooms with independent entrances. The hospitality of Silvano and Loretta ensures that every stay is an authentic experience, focused on nature, tranquility, and relaxation.

Area Collina

Villa Sargiano is situated on the northern slopes of Monte Lignano, within the Protected Natural Area of Bosco di Sargiano, a green oasis that overlooks Arezzo like a scenic terrace. This hilly region, at an altitude of 397 meters, is characterized by olive trees, oaks, cypress trees, and holm oaks, and features paths immersed in silence and the scents of the underbrush, where it is common to spot squirrels, deer, pheasants, and a rich variety of birds such as owls, tawny owls, and barn owls.

In just a few minutes, you can reach the historic center of Arezzo, an artistic city filled with medieval and Renaissance heritage. Must-see attractions include Piazza Grande, famous for the Giostra del Saracino, the Palazzo delle Logge designed by Vasari, the Roman Amphitheatre, and the Palazzo della Fraternità dei Laici. The museums house collections of Etruscan, Roman, and Renaissance artworks, along with Vasari's birthplace, adorned with original frescoes.

The location is also perfect for day trips to some of the most captivating destinations in Tuscany and central Italy: Siena, Perugia, and Florence can be reached in under an hour, while Cortona, Lake Trasimeno, the Val di Chiana, the Casentino, and the Valtiberina are about half an hour away. The area is also renowned for its culinary traditions, featuring specialties such as Chianina steak, pork liver, and Arezzo beans, accompanied by excellent local red wines.

The surroundings of Villa Sargiano combine the natural charm of an ancient forest with the convenience of being close to artistic cities, cultural events, and gastronomic routes, offering a complete experience of relaxation, culture, and authentic flavors.
