The Bed & Breakfast Il Terrazzo is located at the foot of the medieval district of Orvieto, about one kilometer from the historic center and four kilometers from the highway. The property is surrounded by the peaceful countryside, offering a stunning view of the cliff and the ancient city, which at night resembles a small illuminated nativity scene.

The residence, renovated in the 1980s, is situated in a family building and provides a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. It features a room with a private bathroom on the second floor and two rooms with a living area on the ground floor, making it an ideal option for families. During the pleasant weather, breakfast is served on the panoramic terrace, allowing guests to enjoy a relaxing moment with a unique view.

The B&B is well-connected, with a bus stop just a few meters away, perfect for those who wish to reach the city center without a car. Alternatively, guests can conveniently park in front of the property or at the nearby Foro Boario parking lot, from where they can access the city via scenic escalators or an elevator, providing a first glimpse of the underground Orvieto.

Everything will be served on our lovely terrace.

Hey, I'm Danilo

Twenty years ago, motivated by my passion for computers and the rise of online hospitality, I was inspired to occasionally start a Bed & Breakfast. At that time, I was still engaged in my career, but now that I’m retired, I spend a significant portion of my time, in addition to tending to our small garden where we grow various vegetables, enjoying the pleasure of welcoming our guests in a friendly and warm atmosphere.

Just 200 meters from our B&B, you'll find a charming grocery store that offers local products from our region. Nearby, there is a well-known pizzeria, some cozy cafes, a high-quality pastry shop, a bakery, a laundromat, a post office, a pharmacy, a newsstand, a tobacco shop, a beauty center, a hairdresser, a bank, and even a couple of supermarkets. The B&B has a shared parking area directly in front, while a public parking lot is available for free just 150 meters away, which is also suitable for larger vehicles like vans or campers. Additionally, the B&B is well-connected by public transport: from the train station, there are frequent connections to Orvieto and back. In just 5 minutes, using the circular line "B" with a stop 30 meters from the B&B, you can reach the historic center of Orvieto. For those who enjoy a nice walk, it is possible to reach the center on foot in 15-20 minutes, taking a gentle uphill stroll.
