Corte Fratini is located in Pigge, a small hamlet of Trevi nestled among hills adorned with centuries-old olive groves, the heart of the renowned production of Umbrian extra virgin olive oil. The area is traversed by the ancient Via Flaminia and boasts a rich heritage of history, art, and traditions. Just a short distance away lie the Fonti del Clitunno, natural springs that have inspired poets and writers since Roman times and are now a UNESCO World Heritage site, perfect for walks in nature.
The medieval village of Trevi, situated just two kilometers away, perches on a hill and offers picturesque views with its massive walls, Romanesque churches, and cobbled streets leading to charming panoramic squares. Within less than half an hour's drive, some of Umbria's most iconic destinations can be reached: Spoleto, known for its famous cathedral and the Festival dei Due Mondi; Montefalco, celebrated for its Sagrantino wine and the stunning vistas that have earned it the nickname "The Balcony of Umbria"; Spello, with its Roman mosaics and flower-adorned streets; Assisi, home to the basilicas of San Francesco and Santa Chiara; and Perugia, a city rich in art and culture.
The surrounding area invites authentic experiences: culinary tours through olive mills and wineries, hiking through forests and scenic trails, visits to well-preserved medieval villages, and moments of relaxation among olive groves and hills that change color with the seasons.
