Nestled in the tranquility of the Umbrian hills, just a few kilometers from Foligno, Rasiglia, Assisi, Spoleto, and Bevagna, Il Sentiero nel Bosco is a farmhouse surrounded by olive trees and sheltered by ancient oak woods, where time appears to slow down and nature becomes a vibrant, everyday presence. Here, the stay invites guests to pause, breathe, and be amazed by the authentic simplicity of rural life, in a place that captivates with its atmosphere, silence, and landscapes.

The restored farmhouse, designed with respect for traditional Umbrian architecture using local stone and reclaimed beams, welcomes guests into warm and carefully arranged spaces. There are two country-style double rooms available, with the option of adding a cot, each equipped with a private bathroom featuring a shower, hairdryer, toiletries, linens, towels, and complimentary WiFi. Breakfast is served in a bright veranda overlooking the greenery, a cozy space to relax with a book, offering cakes, muffins, jams, local yogurt, toast, milk, and coffee. Upon request, a sweet or sweet and savory breakfast featuring local products is available. The property also provides free private parking and is about 10 km from the Foligno train station, which connects to Rome and Milan, while Perugia can be reached in approximately 35 minutes by car.

Surrounding the house are trails perfect for walks among wild sage and rosemary, forest excursions, and trekking routes, including one leading to the Altolina waterfalls. Nearby, you can also find the Abbey of Sassovivo, the Francescan Thermal Baths in Spello, the hermitage of Santa Maria di Giacobbe, and the village of Rasiglia, known as the little Umbrian Venice.
