Nestled in the heart of the Umbrian hills, just a few kilometers from Perugia and easily accessible from the E45, the Agriturismo Pozzo dei Cocci welcomes guests in a serene environment surrounded by nature and tranquility. Located in the village of Morleschio, this agriturismo is part of the Agricrevelli family-run farm, where olives and vineyards are cultivated, and oil and wine are produced with passion and expertise.

The building, completed in 2005 using materials from the old farmhouse, draws inspiration from traditional Umbrian rural architecture. All the rooms are located on the ground floor for easy access and are furnished with antique furniture and vibrant colors selected by Grandma Rina, blending the charm of tradition with modern comfort. Each room is equipped with a private bathroom, Wi-Fi, heating, and, upon request, additional services for families and individuals with disabilities.

The day begins with a continental breakfast served either in the indoor dining area or on the panoramic terrace. Homemade cakes made from fresh eggs, yogurt, jams, and hot beverages provide the perfect energy for exploring the nearby area. Alternative breakfast options can be customized upon request.

Pozzo dei Cocci serves as the perfect starting point for discovering authentic Umbria, with Assisi, Gubbio, Perugia, and many other gems easily accessible. Strolling through the estate's woods allows visitors to immerse themselves in vibrant nature, where they may encounter hares, pheasants, foxes, and, with a bit of luck, wild boars. In spring, wild asparagus can be foraged, while mushrooms are collected in the fall.

During the warmer months, the pool offers a refreshing retreat in the garden after a day of hiking. For dining, selected restaurants and trattorias in the area serve traditional Umbrian dishes in inviting settings.

Currently managed by Giulio, a trained oenologist, along with his family, the agriturismo combines genuine hospitality with attention to detail. Here, every stay is a return to simplicity, harmonizing with the rhythms of the Umbrian countryside.
Rooms and Rates
Breakfast, a key highlight of the experience at Agriturismo Pozzo dei Cocci, is served every morning in a designated room or outdoors on the terrace overlooking the countryside. Guests can enjoy a continental breakfast featuring toasted bread, jams, yogurt, tea or coffee, and homemade pastries, including the classic soft cake made with fresh eggs from the farm. Customized options can be requested for an additional fee. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and attentive to detail, making it an ideal way to start the day leisurely and deliciously.

Hey, I'm Giulio

The agriturismo is managed by the Scattolin family, who decided to move to Umbria in the late 1990s to create a project centered around the land and hospitality. After an initial phase led by Rina and Pierluigi, it is now Giulio, a trained winemaker, who passionately continues the family business, supported by his wife and parents. The hospitality offered is straightforward, genuine, attentive to the guests' needs, and always accompanied by a smile. Completing the family picture are their two dogs, Rudy and Cloe, along with a small group of chickens that enhance the lively countryside atmosphere.

Area Campagna

The agriturismo Pozzo dei Cocci is located in Morleschio, a hilly district of the municipality of Perugia, surrounded by an authentic landscape where nature dictates the rhythm of daily life. This area is characterized by gentle and tranquil countryside, dotted with ancient oak forests, olive groves, and cultivated fields, offering views over the Ventia valley, a small river that flows down from the Apennines to join the Tiber.

This region of Umbria is particularly well-suited for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of urban life and rediscover the pleasure of a slower pace. The surroundings provide numerous opportunities for nature walks, hiking, or biking, as well as moments of reflection amidst the scents of the woods, where wild asparagus can be found in spring and mushrooms in autumn. It’s not uncommon to encounter hares, pheasants, foxes, or wild boars, indicating a still intact environmental balance.

The location is also strategic for those wishing to visit the main artistic cities of Umbria: Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Spello, and Bevagna are all reachable in under an hour, each rich in history, art, and traditions. However, Umbria also offers lesser-known and surprising corners, quiet villages, Romanesque churches, and local producers who welcome curious travelers eager to truly experience the region.

Morleschio retains the simple and genuine atmosphere of hillside towns, far removed from the paths of mass tourism. Here, the landscape invites contemplation, sunsets paint the valley with golden reflections, and each season has its unique charm. It is a place that quietly welcomes visitors, perfect for those seeking an authentic connection with the Umbrian land.
