Facilities and services

  • Laundry
Just a short distance from the center of Assisi, Villa Val d’Olivi welcomes guests into an elegant countryside residence spread over multiple levels, featuring spacious and bright areas designed for comfort and tranquility. The six rooms, each with a private bathroom, are furnished with antique pieces that belonged to the Cipolloni family, giving the house an authentic and refined atmosphere.

Upon entering through the stone door from 1863, guests are greeted by a large entrance adorned with a fine Venetian-style floor, whose intricate patterns are echoed in various forms throughout the property. Upstairs, there is a large living room divided into three sections, with floors decorated with Franciscan symbols and access to a panoramic terrace, perfect for private events and receptions, complete with catering services. Guests also have access to a fully equipped kitchen and a guest bathroom.

During the warm season, guests can relax by the new outdoor pool, surrounded by a garden and a solarium area with sun loungers and umbrellas. The villa provides linens for the rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen, along with additional laundry and ironing services available upon request.

Completing the experience are local products: the villa produces excellent extra virgin olive oil from the moraiolo cultivar, a symbol of the quality and agricultural traditions of Umbria.

Villa Val D'Olivi

Area Campagna

The landscape surrounding Villa Val d’Olivi is characteristic of the most genuine Umbria: expansive olive groves, gentle hills, and a well-kept countryside that alternates between forests, vineyards, and quaint villages. The villa is just minutes away from Assisi, a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its deep spirituality and art, attracting visitors from around the globe each year who are drawn to the figure of Saint Francis and the untouched charm of its historic center.

In the vicinity, scenic roads wind through the area, perfect for leisurely walks, cycling adventures, or simply moments of reflection in nature. Its strategic location also makes it convenient to explore other Umbrian gems such as Spello, Bevagna, Montefalco, and Spoleto, each boasting its own unique character with stone alleyways, tranquil squares, and breathtaking views of cultivated valleys.

The region is also famous for its remarkable culinary traditions: it produces fine wines, typical cured meats, artisanal cheeses, and, of course, extra virgin olive oil, the result of centuries-old cultivation. With local festivals, farmers' markets, and family-run restaurants, it's easy to connect with the true essence of the area.

Staying at Villa Val d’Olivi means immersing oneself in an environment where time seems to slow down, surrounded by natural beauty and historical landmarks, with opportunities to experience authentic encounters with the culture and daily life of Umbria.
