Nestled among the hills of Valbelluna, the agriturismo Casa Marietta welcomes guests in an authentic and peaceful setting within the quaint village of Campo. The house, once home to great-grandparents Maria and Giovanni, has been thoughtfully renovated to honor its traditional roots, now ready to provide a comfortable stay for those looking to immerse themselves in the area's nature and culture.

The guest rooms are located on the first floor, maintaining the rustic charm of yesteryears, featuring exposed wooden beams and simple yet functional furnishings. Each room includes a double bed, a loft with two single beds, a private bathroom with a shower, and all necessary amenities for a relaxing stay. Pets are warmly welcomed, with a few considerations to ensure everyone’s comfort.

On the ground floor, there is a cozy breakfast room where a generous selection of local, seasonal, and short-supply products is served each morning. These items are carefully chosen from local producers who use sustainable and environmentally friendly practices. Breakfast is always vegetarian and can be tailored to meet specific dietary requirements upon request.

Casa Marietta also operates as a farm, born from Enrica's desire to cultivate her family's land sustainably. The farm grows hardy varieties of apples and typical vegetables from the Belluno area, all cultivated without chemicals and in accordance with organic farming principles.

The location is perfect for exploring Valbelluna, situated between the Belluno Prealps and the Piave River. The area is rich in trails for walks and hikes, catering to both those seeking easy paths and adventure enthusiasts interested in canyoning, guided by experts through gorges and rocky cliffs. Nearby, visitors can explore the historic center of Mel, with its roots dating back to the Iron Age, the Zumelle Castle, ancient frescoed chapels, capitals, and the Venetian Villas scattered throughout the villages.

Additionally, the nearby cities of Feltre and Belluno offer historic centers, museums, and markets, ideal for those wanting to experience local traditions up close. It’s an authentic region, best explored with curiosity and at a leisurely pace, to savor every detail.

Area Collina

Valbelluna is a vast alpine valley located between the Belluno Dolomites and the Prealps, traversed by the Piave River and dotted with historic villages, meadows, forests, and ancient architectural remnants. Here, nature harmoniously coexists with history, presenting landscapes that shift in color and atmosphere with the changing seasons.

Borgo Valbelluna, a municipality formed by the merger of the towns of Mel, Lentiai, and Trichiana, serves as the cultural and scenic heart of the region. The historic center of Mel is one of the most captivating in the area, featuring Venetian-style buildings, well-maintained squares, and its proximity to the Castle of Zumelle, an enchanting medieval fortress set in lush greenery, where historical reenactments, workshops, and guided tours take place.

The territory is dotted with numerous frescoed churches, votive capitals, and Venetian Villas, all testifying to a deeply rooted agricultural and noble past. The landscape invites exploration at a leisurely pace, whether on foot or by bicycle, along paths that wind through meadows and woods or on more challenging routes that lead to the peaks of the Prealps, offering breathtaking views that stretch from the Dolomites to the Venetian lagoon.

This area is perfect for those who enjoy outdoor activities: trekking, mountain biking, canyoning in rocky streams, snowshoeing in winter, or simply taking walks to breathe in the fresh air and listen to the tranquility of nature. Culture enthusiasts can visit Feltre and Belluno, towns rich in history, museums, and local markets.

Valbelluna is also a place with a strong agrarian identity, where ancient knowledge and flavors are preserved. Festivals, village celebrations, and seasonal events provide opportunities to engage with the community, traditions, and local cuisine. It is a territory to explore with curiosity, where every corner tells a story, and every view offers a moment of wonder.
