Hey, I'm Riccarda

Welcoming friends into my home has always brought me immense joy, especially when I can share not only the warmth of my house but also the unique beauty of the Marostica hills, where I am fortunate to live. I have channeled this joy into an endeavor that embodies it perfectly: the hospitality and warmth typical of a Bed & Breakfast. The beauty of these hills and the warmth of family await you here at A Casa Mia.

Area Collina

Marostica, with its 14,000 residents, is situated in a prime location at the foot of the Asiago Plateau, just eight kilometers from Bassano del Grappa. Due to its strategic setting, it is easily accessible from major art cities in the Veneto region, such as Venice, Treviso, Padua, Vicenza, and Verona, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.

Known as "the city of chess," Marostica owes its reputation to the picturesque Piazza degli Scacchi, dominated by two castles and featuring a large checkered pavement. Every two years, the famous Living Chess Game takes place here, a spectacular event that has drawn visitors from around the globe since 1923. Over 550 costumed participants reenact a historical event based on the legend of Lionora, a young woman contested by two noble knights, whose fate is decided by a chess match instead of a duel.

The region offers much more than just history and culture; nature and sports enthusiasts will find a wide variety of outdoor activities suitable for all ages and interests.
- Borso del Grappa (22 km, 25 minutes) is a well-known destination for paragliding and hang gliding, thanks to the Monte Grappa Tandem Team, which provides unforgettable experiences amidst the rising currents.
- Valstagna, in Valsugana (18 km, 30 minutes), is a hub for water sports enthusiasts, featuring rafting on the Brenta River and numerous outdoor activities organized by the Ivan Team.
- Asiago (27 km, 40 minutes), surrounded by the captivating landscapes of the Plateau, is a hiker’s paradise with trekking trails, cross-country skiing, and mountain biking routes offered by Magico Veneto and Altopiano Bike.
- Marostica (1.5 km, 2 minutes) provides opportunities to rent quads, road bikes, and mountain bikes, allowing visitors to explore the area freely.
- The Marsan di Marostica area hosts the Pachamama social farm, an ideal spot for families and children, offering donkey trekking for a unique experience in nature.
- Bassano del Grappa (6 km, 10 minutes) is perfect for fans of Nordic walking and sport fishing, with numerous paths along the Brenta River and dedicated facilities.
- Romano d’Ezzelino (12 km, 20 minutes) is a must-visit for motor enthusiasts, featuring the Bonfanti Automobile Museum, which houses an extraordinary collection of vintage cars.

Thanks to its location, the B&B A Casa Mia allows guests to enjoy a stay filled with experiences in art, culture, sports, and nature, turning every trip into an opportunity for discovery and relaxation.
