Gioz 87 is a beautiful vacation home nestled in the grandeur of the Dolomite mountains, perfect for those seeking a retreat in a peaceful corner. Built by my father in the village from which my mother's family hails, the house is a place filled with light and beauty, surrounded by a wild valley that offers breathtaking views. When my brother and I inherited the house, I chose to move back in and share it with others, upholding the spirit of openness and hospitality that my parents instilled in this space.

The property is spacious and bright, designed to provide guests with a homely atmosphere while also creating intimate corners. Over time, I've realized that the people who come here from all over the world resonate deeply with the essence of this home: a desire for openness, curiosity, and a passion for nature and starry nights. The house is set in lush greenery, on the edge of the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park and at the end of the Alta Via 1 trail. The opportunities for hiking and cycling are countless, catering to all tastes and skill levels, right outside the door. It is located in the beautiful Valbelluna, an area historically frequented by Venetian nobility, rich in stunning vistas. Additionally, it's just five minutes away from Belluno, with its cinemas, theaters, restaurants, and elegant cafes. Thanks to its strategic location, it serves as an ideal starting point for exploring the entire Dolomite region and the artistic cities of Veneto, with Venice leading the way.

The South Room is spacious and comfortable, perfect for long stays. It includes exclusive use of the kitchen/tavern, an excellent option for those looking to explore and enjoy the many opportunities offered by its prime location: nearby hikes, access to the Dolomites, proximity to Venice, and the picturesque lakes and streams that can be reached in no time. Please note that the bathroom is shared with the Piero Room.

On the other hand, the Piero Room is designed for shorter stays, ideal for young travelers exploring Europe or for hikers heading towards the Dolomite peaks. Guests of the Piero Room have access to the breakfast area, which includes a refrigerator, coffee machine, and kettle, but do not have access to the kitchen, allowing for a more affordable rate. The room can be set up as either a double bed or with separate beds. Again, the bathroom is shared with the South Room.
