The Bed and Breakfast I Grilli welcomes its guests in the heart of the Colli Euganei Regional Park, located in Valle San Giorgio, a small district of Baone. Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, the house is set in a peaceful and panoramic location, offering views of the gentle slopes of the hills and the distant plain. The renovation of an old stone farmhouse has created a warm and inviting atmosphere, where rural tradition meets modern comfort.

The three double rooms, located on the ground floor with independent entrances, overlook the garden and provide a relaxing ambiance. Each accommodation features a private bathroom, air conditioning, a minibar, an electric kettle, and Wi-Fi access. The decision to forgo televisions encourages guests to rediscover the joys of silence and nature. Visitors can unwind in the well-equipped garden or sample wines produced on-site.

Every morning, breakfast is prepared with genuine ingredients and local products: homemade bread and pastries, jams, honey, and yogurt, with the option for special breakfast requests. During the warmer months, breakfast is served outdoors amidst the scents of the vineyards, while in cooler months, it is enjoyed in the indoor panoramic dining room.

Silvia and Laura, both architects and passionate travelers, have personally overseen the restoration of the building, transforming it into a welcoming and shared space. After working experiences in Italy and abroad, they chose to live in the Colli Euganei to promote the beauty and culture of this area, offering guests personalized tips and itineraries.

Valle San Giorgio serves as an ideal starting point for exploring the Colli Euganei Park. The trails winding through forests, vineyards, and villages lead to places like Arquà Petrarca, Este, and Monselice, rich in art and history. Nearby, you can also find the thermal baths of Abano and Montegrotto, along with numerous wineries to taste local wines. Amidst nature, culture, and flavors, B&B I Grilli is an authentic retreat for those who wish to experience the tranquility and beauty of the Venetian countryside.

Hey, I'm Silvia

Silvia and Laura are two architects who have chosen to combine their passion for restoration and hospitality in a joint project. After traveling extensively and working both in Italy and abroad, they fell in love with the Euganean Hills and decided to settle in Valle San Giorgio, where they meticulously restored an ancient stone farmhouse, transforming it into their bed and breakfast. They personally attend to every detail, from the warm welcome to breakfast, aiming to make guests feel at home and to share their love for this region. Always ready to recommend itineraries, walks, wineries, and authentic places to explore, they enthusiastically share their experiences and the tranquility of life in the Venetian hills.

Area Collina

Valle San Giorgio is one of the most picturesque spots in the Euganean Hills Regional Park, a unique area characterized by gentle volcanic hills interspersed with vineyards, olive groves, and ancient forests. This district of the municipality of Baone retains the charm of small rural Venetian villages, where life moves at a leisurely pace, interrupted only by the sounds of nature, and the landscape shifts in color with each season.

From the valley, numerous hiking trails branch out, weaving through the heart of the park and perfect for walking, cycling, or horseback riding. These paths lead to captivating sites such as Monte Gemola, home to the ancient hermitage of Santa Maria, or to the villages of Arquà Petrarca, Este, and Monselice, which are rich in history and beauty. Arquà Petrarca, recognized as one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in Italy," preserves its medieval allure and offers poetic views of the surrounding hills, while Este and Monselice narrate centuries of art and architecture through castles, towers, and noble mansions.

Just a few kilometers away are the famous spa towns of Abano and Montegrotto, renowned throughout Europe for their healing waters and wellness centers. This region is also a prime destination for food and wine enthusiasts: the Euganean Hills boast a long-standing winemaking tradition and produce fine wines such as Fior d'Arancio DOCG, along with high-quality extra virgin olive oil and typical Venetian dishes to savor in local trattorias and agriturismos.

Thus, Valle San Giorgio serves as an ideal starting point to explore an authentic Veneto, filled with nature, culture, and flavors, where every experience provides an opportunity to rediscover harmony and well-being.
