The bed & breakfast “Il vecchio noce” is located in the heart of the village of Nebbiù, one of the smallest districts of Pieve di Cadore, in the province of Belluno. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Dolomiti Bellunesi, which have recently been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site, it provides an ideal retreat for those seeking peace and relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The establishment is housed in an ancient building that has been recently renovated, preserving the authentic features of the Cadore tradition. The B&B offers three guest rooms, two of which have private bathrooms. Guests also have access to a dining area that serves as a communal space, as well as a spacious garden with fruit trees and farm animals, including ducks, geese, chickens, and rabbits. Just a short walk away, children can enjoy a playground.

Nebbiù is also a perfect starting point for trekking enthusiasts, with numerous trails catering to various needs and difficulty levels. The paths lead to places such as Pozzale, Tai, Pieve, and Valle, and extend to more challenging hikes, such as those that lead to Mount Antelao. For the more experienced, the famous Alta Via trails of the Dolomites No. 4 and No. 5 begin in Pieve di Cadore, while the Cammino delle Dolomiti offers a recent opportunity to explore the area sustainably.

Cycling enthusiasts will also find the Dolomiti cycling path just one kilometer away, a route that connects Calalzo di Cadore to Dobbiaco, passing through breathtaking landscapes and reaching as far as Austria.
