In the heart of the Po Delta Park, just a few kilometers from the sea and along the left bank of the Po di Goro, lies Tenuta Goro Veneto, an ancient residence dating back to 1730, which once served as a fort for the Serenissima Republic. Today, the estate operates as a charming agriturismo offering Bed & Breakfast services, surrounded by a unique natural setting where the tranquility of the landscape and the slow rhythms of nature provide a genuine sense of well-being.

The ten rooms, furnished with antique furniture and equipped with modern comforts, include eight double rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, TV, and some even feature a small sitting area. Additionally, there are two twin rooms with a shared bathroom, perfect for families or small groups. Guests can unwind in the elegant common lounges, read from the small library, enjoy board games, or savor breakfast served in the romantic fireplace room, where the aromas of homemade cakes blend with the scent of freshly brewed coffee.

Outside, the large wooded park is equipped with children's play areas, wooden tables, and a spacious, safe, and sunny swimming pool, ideal for moments of relaxation between a swim and an aperitif under the gazebo. The adjacent chapel, now a tasting room, offers delicacies made with local products, paired with the estate's Merlot wine.

Tenuta Goro Veneto serves as the perfect starting point for exploring the wonders of the Po Delta, featuring equipped beaches, nature cycling paths, and areas of exceptional interest for birdwatching. Here, time seems to slow down, providing a stay where one can rediscover the beauty of simple and genuine things.
Rooms and Rates
Every morning, guests can kick off their day with a hearty Italian breakfast, served buffet-style in the fireplace room. The selection includes homemade cakes, warm pastries, plain and fruit yogurt, jams, Nutella, cornflakes, fresh fruit, milk, espresso coffee, and tea, offering a delightful and fragrant array of sweet options. Additionally, a savory breakfast featuring cheeses, assorted cold cuts, and eggs—either hard-boiled or in an omelet—is available upon request, catering to every preference with flavor and authenticity.

Area Mare

The Goro Veneto Estate is situated in a prime location within the Po Delta Park, one of the most captivating and protected ecosystems in Europe, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Here, the landscape unfolds into a network of waters, canals, forests, and valleys that tell a millennia-old story, shaped by the power of the river and human effort.

Just a few kilometers from the estate, you will find the long sandy beaches of the Adriatic, easily accessible by car or bicycle, perfect for those seeking peaceful days of sun and sea. Nature enthusiasts will discover an extraordinary variety of environments nearby: from the Goro Lagoon, ideal for birdwatching, to the Mesola Forest, a vast woodland that is home to the last population of Mesola deer and numerous species of migratory birds.

The entirely flat terrain is perfect for cycling excursions along the banks and bike paths surrounded by greenery. The trails meander through tranquil and rejuvenating landscapes, passing by fishing huts, brackish lagoons, rice fields, and small rural communities that are still connected to ancient traditions.

The area is also rich in historical evidence: from the Roman remains in nearby Adria to the traces of the Serenissima, which constructed fortifications and settlements here, including the one that now houses the estate itself. It is a place where nature, history, and culture converge, offering an authentic and profound experience for those wishing to discover the true essence of Polesine.
