The Al Giuggiolo (The Jujube) agritourism is located In the near vicinity of the Ostellato Wetlands and of the naturalistic reserve of the Po river delta park. Conveniently lying within a short car drive from Ferrara and the Lidi Ferraresi (Ferrarese seaside), the establishment comprises a 28 hectares (69, 19 acres) estate surrounding a colonic house recently remodeled.

The main building offers 6 rooms for a total of 15 beds, and features all modern comforts while retaining its original aspect. The advanced construction technologies used in the remodeling ensure a pleasant level of comfort in both winter and summer. The agritourism comprises a 5000 square meters (1, 23553 acres) fully-fenced park with ornamental plants and fruit trees. Hospitality and the possibility to relax in an oasis of tranquility couples with the vicinity to all essential services.

A bike path, immersed in the countryside, allows pleasant bike rides or walks starting right from the entrance of the property.

The Agritourism is well connected to the cities of Ferrara and Comacchio, and to the Ferrarese seaside (lidi ferraresi), through the highway, the state road, as well as via public transport. The territory in which the estate is located, boasts a stunning naturalistic and landscape beauty: the Ostellato Wetlands, the Comacchio Wetlands, the Campotto Wetlands, the salt-works of Cervia, the Classe pine-wood, very interesting also for the characteristic fauna and flora. Historical and art/architecture points of interest are: the Mesola Castle, the Abbey of Pomposa, The Estense Delizie (delights), the historical donwntown of the cities of Ferrara, Comacchio, and Ravenna. In the nearby Ostellato Wetlands there is also an important Observatory. Sport tourism is also well catered for: fishing, hunting, equestrianism, archery, canoeing and excursions on boats. We also remind that from March to November, a number of events are held throughout the region: cultural events, historical reenactments, concerts, shows and sport events, village fairs, Sagras (local festivals, very often involving food, and frequently a historical pageant and sporting events), degustation events (events centered on local food or wine products).

You will not find more welcoming and accommodating hosts. Daniela makes wonderful homemade pastries for breakfast every day. They both made us feel as if we had a "home from home".

We stayed at Al Giuggiolo to do the bike tour of the Valleys of Comacchio, which are about twenty minutes away by car. During the night, the managers kindly stored our bikes in a covered and closed place.

Spectacular farmhouse located 20 km from the city, surrounded by greenery, managed by very kind people, willing to help you in every request. The farmhouse is very clean, the rooms are spacious and the breakfast is excellent and abundant.

Io e il mio compagno abbiamo deciso di concederci qualche giorno di ferie per staccare la spina. Devo dire che Al Giuggiolo ci ha dato la pace e la tranquillità di cui avevamo bisogno. Il posto è immerso nel verde e circondato da terreni agricoli, vi è solo una pista ciclabile attigua all'entrata, un aspetto che potrebbe non venire apprezzato da tutti ma che per noi è stato provvidenziale: il silenzio e la quiete ci hanno permesso di godere di una vacanza in totale relax. La superstrada che collega Ferrara a Comacchio è comunque facilmente raggiungibile in un paio di chilometri. La colazione è preparata con cura e Flavio e Daniela sono sempre disponibili a dare consigli sui posti da poter visitare. Siamo stati molto bene e lo consigliamo vivamente!

Bel casale di campagna che è rimasto intatto nella struttura, circondato da un bel prato piantumato. Al pianterreno di trova la saletta per le colazioni e un salotto a disposizione per gli ospiti. Al primo piano le stanze. Quella che ci è stata assegnata era molto spaziosa con un letto bello grande e molto comodo. I proprietari Daniela e Flavio sono due ragazzi molto cordiali e disponibili. La colazione è stata ottima. Daniela ha preparato per noi (quel giorno eravamo i solo ospiti) ben quattro torte tutte molto buone con l'accompagnamento di una genuina conserva di pere fatta in casa. Lo consiglio soprattutto per chi come noi sceglie di girare il territorio in bici, infatti l'agriturismo di trova proprio di una ciclabile e dista dal centro un paio di km. Ottima accoglienza ad attendervi!

Siamo stati ospiti di questo agriturismo con il nostro cane. Il posto offre diversi servizi per chi viaggia con gli animali: non viene richiesto alcun supplemento, al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato un pet-kit in camera, all'esterno c'è un grande parco interamente recintato e ombreggiato con una pista ciclabile all'entrata. Le camere sono ampie, pulite ed hanno bagno privato in camera. I gestori sono molto disponibili e ci hanno fornito diverse informazioni riguardo ai luoghi dog-friendly nei dintorni da poter visitare. La colazione è ottima e davvero abbondante. Abbiamo trovato la tranquilità che cercavamo per ricaricarci e non possiamo che consigliarlo!

Ci fa sempre tanto piacere ricevere la visita di una bau famiglia! Abbiamo la fortuna di potervi accogliere in luogo dove la natura invita a lunghe passeggiate all'aria aperta e di questo gli amici a quattro zampe non possono che giovarne. La vacanza è bella, ed è doppiamente bella se può essere vissuta appieno da tutti, animali domestici compresi. Per questo motivo facciamo del nostro meglio per farvi sentire a vostro agio ed il pet-kit omaggio è una piccola coccola per dare il benvenuto anche ai fedeli compagni di viaggio, che siano cani, gatti, coniglietti.
