Sadde, a Guest House with an intimate and cosy feel, is situated in a secluded area of the Sardinian countryside. It is a haven of peace where you can enjoy a break, take the time for a leisurely breakfast and relax in the outdoors.
Sadde is an old family stazzo (old Sardinian farmhouse). The architecture and natural materials – mostly wood and stone – are those used in the original house. Here you have a choice of both very old, exquisitely furnished late eighteenth-century rooms, with original juniper wood ceilings, and rooms of recent construction with large windows overlooking the gardens. For our guest a beautiful suite is also available, with private living room and windows overlooking the gardens. Prices available on request.
Breakfast is a very key moment at Casa Sadde, that’s why we use only high quality ingredients to make yours. We use organic and local products of which we know the origins and production process.
In the morning breakfast is served in the gardens and it includes: hot coffee, milk, tea, organic juices, a daily selection of homemade cakes and traditional sweets, organic jams, bread, homemade yoghurt, fresh fruit and local honey. A savoury breakfast is also available; organic salumi, local cheeses or perhaps freshly collected eggs, served scrambled on a slice of crusty bread and fresh tomatoes.
There is a large garden surrounding the house and guests are more than welcome to enjoy this outdoor living area with wi-fi internet access. It is a wonderful place in which to relax, read (we would be happy to share the selection of books we have available), or just indulge in conversation until late.
The area in which Sadde is located is very well worth visiting. The beauty of its landscape, the nature reserves and off beaten tracks (ideal for trekking and excursions), make it an unspoiled paradise. We will gladly give you any information and directions to help you explore the many delights of this area. Moreover at only half hour’s drive from here you will find some of the most beautiful beaches and bays of the east coast: Cala Brandichi, Porto Taverna and La Cinta (treasured by kiters e windsurfers), the bay of Capo Coda Cavallo and the village of Porto San Paolo.
