  • Romantic atmosphere
In the heart of the Abruzzo countryside, just a few kilometers from the Costa dei Trabocchi and the Majella National Park, the agriturismo welcomes its guests in an authentic setting, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and fruit trees. We are in Rocca San Giovanni, one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in Italy," easily accessible by car due to its proximity to the Lanciano highway exit.

The property spans approximately 15 hectares, cultivated with passion and respect for the land. The farmhouse, an old renovated peasant house, retains the distinctive features of rural tradition, enhanced by ceramic details and an atmosphere reminiscent of bygone times. The rooms, each named after a flower, are furnished in a rustic style and equipped with a private bathroom and television; some are located on the upper floor, while others are on the ground floor, including a mini-apartment accessible to guests with disabilities.

Every morning, a wholesome breakfast is served, featuring sweet or savory options, with homemade cakes, jams, and juices made from the farm's fruit, along with seasonal produce. Upon request, breakfast can also be enjoyed in the room. The dining area offers dishes inspired by traditional grandmother recipes, using ingredients harvested directly from the garden, artisanal jams, extra virgin olive oil, and wines such as Montepulciano, Cococciola, and Pecorino, all produced on-site.

Outside, a spacious garden with centuries-old olive trees and well-equipped areas provides an ideal setting for relaxation or celebrating special moments in privacy. In the surrounding area, outdoor activities such as horseback riding, trekking, and cycling can be enjoyed along the scenic path that runs alongside the sea.

For over sixteen years, Nicoletta and her mother have been dedicated to running the agricultural and hospitality business, warmly and simply welcoming travelers, continuing a family tradition that spans three generations.
Rooms and Rates
Breakfast is served in the dining area or, upon request, directly in the room. Each morning, guests can choose between a sweet or savory option, both made with fresh and genuine ingredients. Homemade pastries, jams, and fruit juices made from the company's produce are served alongside seasonal fruit. For those who prefer, a breakfast featuring bacon and eggs, cooked to order, is also available. The attention to detail and the authentic flavors of tradition make this moment one of the most cherished parts of the stay.
The restaurant of the agriturismo serves as the vibrant heart of family tradition, where classic recipes take center stage thanks to the expertise and passion of Nicoletta and Lucia. The dishes offered are inspired by Abruzzese peasant cuisine and are made with fresh, seasonal ingredients, most of which come from the farm's garden. The menu features preserves, freshly picked vegetables, homemade jams, and extra virgin olive oil, all complemented by wines produced on-site, such as Montepulciano, Cococciola, and Pecorino. The cozy dining room, featuring a central fireplace, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere where guests can savor the authentic flavors of the region year-round.

Hey, I'm Nicoletta

The management is family-run and entirely female: Nicoletta, along with her mother Lucia and grandmother Zà Culetta, passionately handles hospitality, cooking, and the care of the crops. For over sixteen years, Nicoletta has chosen to continue the family business to keep the connection with the land and farming traditions alive. Guests particularly appreciate the authentic atmosphere, the constant availability, and the warmth with which they are welcomed, making them feel at home right away.

Area Campagna

The agriturismo is located in Rocca San Giovanni, a village rich in history and charm that is part of the "Most Beautiful Villages in Italy" network. Nestled between the Adriatic Sea and the Majella mountain range, its setting offers landscapes that transform with the seasons and a rare sense of tranquility. Just 3 km away lies the enchanting Costa dei Trabocchi, known for its hidden coves, scenic cliffs, and ancient fishing machines suspended over the water, many of which have been converted into picturesque restaurants. Here, visitors can stroll or cycle along a long seaside path, making it perfect for those who enjoy exploring the coast in a leisurely and sustainable way.

Behind the agriturismo rises the Majella National Park, a natural oasis featuring beech forests, gorges, trails, and small rock hermitages that provide endless opportunities for hiking and outdoor activities. This area is ideal for those who like to alternate days at the beach with moments spent in nature, among hilltop villages, vineyards, and gastronomic routes.

Nearby, there are also riding stables for horseback riding, agriturismos, wineries, and small local producers to visit. Its strategic location, just 3.5 km from the Lanciano toll booth, makes it easy to reach other points of interest in the region, both along the coast and inland.
