It is located in Piane Favaro, within the municipality of Rocca San Giovanni, in a strategic position that allows a view of the sea dedicated to Venus while also telling the story of a surprising and often unknown hinterland. The four double rooms, each with independent entrances and private bathrooms, are unique spaces full of character and warmth, ready to welcome stories of travel and life’s fragments. The common areas are designed to encourage gatherings, reflection, and relaxation for both body and soul. Breakfast is enjoyed under the porch, around a large communal table, featuring donuts made with ancient flours, homemade jams, yogurt, fresh bread, seasonal fruits, cookies, and – upon request – a savory selection with cold cuts, cheeses, salads, and organic oil produced locally.

The cuisine at Rifugiomare is simple and genuine, a blend of ancient and modern knowledge, local ingredients, and practices that honor time and the earth. More than just nourishing, it encourages sharing, slowing down, and rediscovering the deep significance of a meal as an act of care. The small garden, always within reach, provides the kitchen with daily gifts, lovingly harvested by Brunetta, the hostess, who gracefully transforms each dish into a small celebration.

Amidst the olive trees surrounding the establishment – a total of 250, cultivated using organic methods – one can sense the history of an ancient land, rich in deep roots and intertwined stories. Rifugiomare is not merely an agriturismo; it is an experience to be felt with all the senses. A refuge where everything seems to beckon to wonder, both discreet and secretive.

Breakfast at Rifugiomare is a time for sharing and taking things slow, served on the porch around a large communal table. Each morning, we offer donuts made with ancient organic flours, homemade jams, yogurt, fresh bread, seasonal fruit, and cookies. Upon request, a savory breakfast is also available, featuring cured meats, cheeses, bread, our own organic oil, and fresh salads. It’s a simple and genuine offering, designed to nourish with flavor and lightness, in harmony with the spirit of the place.

Rifugiomare is located in Piane Favaro, within the municipality of Rocca San Giovanni, along one of the most picturesque stretches of the Costa dei Trabocchi.
