Nestled in the greenery of the Roveto Valley, Villa Attilio is a standalone holiday home overlooking a landscape of olive groves and ancient forests, providing a peaceful retreat in an unspoiled natural setting. Surrounded by a hectare of private land, the property welcomes guests with the grandeur of a century-old oak tree and expansive views of the Abruzzo hills, inviting relaxation and a deep connection with nature.

The villa is situated in a secluded location, away from traffic and noise, making it perfect for those looking to slow down and regain their balance. Days unfold peacefully with opportunities for walking or cycling, horseback riding, visits to hermitages, or simply enjoying the tranquility of the landscape. Nearby, guests can explore some of the area's natural and cultural wonders: the waterfall of Isola del Liri, Lake Posta Fibreno, the Zompo lo Schioppo nature reserve, the Sponga park, Balsorano castle, the Claudius tunnels, and even the archaeological site of Alba Fucens.

Pierpaolo, the manager, personally greets guests with great warmth. A graduate in Motor Sciences, a former professional volleyball player, and now an Osteopathy student, he has made movement and wellness his life philosophy. He loves to travel, explore, and share his passion for nature and the mountains, and is always ready to provide advice and support during the stay.

Getting to Villa Attilio requires a car, but this seclusion is a key part of its charm: an authentic retreat where one can leave behind the daily hustle and rediscover the joy of a simple and rejuvenating lifestyle.

Hey, I'm Pierpaolo

Pierpaolo is the heart of Villa Attilio. A former professional volleyball player and a graduate in Motor Sciences, he has chosen to combine his passion for sports and wellness by pursuing a path in Osteopathy at the CSOT in Rome. A lover of the mountains, solitary or shared walks, and aimless travels, he considers himself a curious and tireless explorer. When he is not engrossed in his studies or enjoying nature, he dedicates time to music, finding personal expression through the piano. Attentive, approachable, and always ready to help, he welcomes guests with enthusiasm and genuine hospitality, making every stay at Villa Attilio an authentic and relaxing experience.

Area Campagna

The area of Case Marconi, nestled in the heart of the Valle Roveto, is a genuine and less-traveled corner of Abruzzo, where nature reveals its strength and beauty. Surrounded by forests, hills, and mountain trails, it provides the perfect backdrop for those looking to rejuvenate amidst the environment, stroll through the quiet chestnut groves, cycle along scenic roads, or embark on hikes to ancient hermitages set in the rocks.

The landscape is dotted with charming rural villages and features scenery that changes with the seasons, offering vibrant colors and clear skies. Just a few kilometers away are sites of significant natural and cultural interest, such as the enchanting waterfall of Isola del Liri, unique in Europe for its location in the heart of the town, and the lake of Posta Fibreno, famous for its crystal-clear waters and the protected biodiversity of its nature reserve.

For mountain enthusiasts, the Zompo lo Schioppo reserve beckons with its stunning waterfall and trails that meander through beech forests and viewpoints, or one can visit the Sponga park, ideal for picnics and leisurely walks in nature. The historical richness of the area is highlighted by the Balsorano castle, which overlooks the valley, the mysterious Roman tunnels of Claudio, and the archaeological site of Alba Fucens, an ancient Latin colony at the foot of Mount Velino.

This part of Abruzzo, straddling Marsica and Lazio, still retains a slow pace of life, deep-rooted traditions, and a profound respect for the land: a place to be amazed by simplicity, rediscover the essence of what’s important, and enjoy an authentic and rejuvenating travel experience.
