Nestled in the greenery at the edge of Aosta, the La Reina agriturismo welcomes guests into an authentic environment where rural life blends with hospitality. Located in Pollein, it boasts a central and strategic position that allows easy access to Aosta's city center, the ski slopes of Pila, and numerous historical and natural attractions throughout the Aosta Valley.

The six spacious rooms, each uniquely decorated with colors and details inspired by the seasons and local culture, feature names in patois. Each room comes with a private bathroom, a balcony, a TV, internet access, and modern amenities, with some offering additional features such as a kitchenette, a hot tub, or accessibility for individuals with disabilities. Accommodations are available as doubles, triples, and quadruples, with the option for an extra bed.

At the heart of the agriturismo is the Vierin family's farm, which has been operating for nearly sixty years. The carefully raised Valdostana breed cattle are central not only to daily life but also to the famous Batailles de Reines. Alongside them are smaller animals like rabbits, chickens, and ponies, which bring the farm to life and make it welcoming for children.

A buffet breakfast, served from 8:00 to 10:00, features genuine products from the farm, including jams, hazelnut creams, fresh bread, homemade cakes, cured meats, cheeses, freshly milked milk, and seasonal fruits. For lunch and dinner, guests can enjoy dishes made with zero-kilometer ingredients in a warm and bright dining room, adorned with a fireplace and wooden furnishings that tell the family's story. The cuisine honors Valdostana traditions while also exploring new combinations. Fixed menus, vegetarian options, and à la carte choices are available, with special attention given to allergies and intolerances.

During the summer, guests can visit the family’s alpine pasture at 2000 meters, where animals roam freely and high-quality Fontina cheese is produced. This experience can be extended in the rustic tasting room created from old cellars, which is also ideal for events or social gatherings.

The educational farm offers a valuable opportunity to discover farming life, catering to school groups and families. Activities include animal visits, workshops on milk processing, excursions in the garden and orchard, with options for half-day or full-day participation including lunch.

La Reina is the perfect starting point for exploring the Aosta Valley in every season, allowing guests to experience the rhythms of nature and the values of alpine tradition up close.
Rooms and Rates
Breakfast at La Reina is a special occasion designed to help you start your day with flavor and authenticity. Every morning, from 8:00 to 10:00, we welcome you with a hearty buffet featuring products from our own farm: fresh bread, homemade jams, freshly baked cakes, artisanal hazelnut cream, along with cured meats and cheeses made by us. The freshly milked milk, fruit picked straight from the trees, and simple, natural ingredients reflect our passion for authenticity. For special requirements, we are always happy to arrange different timings.
The restaurant at the La Reina agriturismo provides a culinary experience that blends tradition and authenticity. In a warm and inviting setting, featuring exposed stone, wood, and a fireplace, you can enjoy dishes made with seasonal ingredients, primarily sourced from our own farm. The cuisine highlights recipes from the Aosta Valley, offering dishes like Valdostan crepes, rich polenta, homemade cured meats, and cheeses, while also embracing creative dishes and unique pairings.

We offer fixed menus, vegetarian options, and à la carte choices, with special attention given to those with intolerances or specific dietary needs. To complement your dining experience, we have a selection of wines from the Aosta region and a tasting room located in the ancient cellars, ideal for savoring our products in an intimate and authentic atmosphere.

Hey, I'm Soc. Agricola Vierin

Our family has nurtured a passion for agriculture and livestock for generations, particularly for the Valdostana brown cattle, which are central to the traditional Batailles de Reines. With the arrival of new generations, we decided to open our home and farm to share an authentic lifestyle with our guests, characterized by respect for nature, daily hard work, and a love for traditions. Since 2008, the agriturismo La Reina has been the natural progression of our commitment: a place where hospitality and rural life converge, providing genuine experiences and lasting memories. Every detail of our establishment reflects our history and our desire to make each guest feel at home.
