The Dwelling of Wind and Sun is located in the serene outskirts of Crispiano, a village nestled in the hills of the Taranto province, renowned for its over one hundred historic farmhouses. This area is part of the enchanting Itria Valley, famous for its rolling landscapes dotted with trulli, vineyards, and centuries-old olive groves, providing breathtaking views in every season.

Just a short distance away, you can explore Martina Franca, celebrated for its baroque architecture, narrow streets of the historic center, and the well-known Itria Valley Festival. Further along are Locorotondo and Cisternino, picturesque white villages regarded as some of the most beautiful in Italy, perfect for evening strolls through artisan shops and traditional eateries.

Those who appreciate rural culture can discover the ancient farmhouses in the area, many of which are still active in producing local olive oil and cheeses. For a nature experience, the Pianelle Forest offers trails ideal for trekking and mountain biking, with opportunities to spot wildlife and breathe in the fresh air of the Mediterranean scrub.

A few kilometers away, Alberobello and its iconic trulli, a UNESCO World Heritage site, provide a deep dive into Apulian tradition. The Castellana Caves invite you on an underground journey amidst impressive stalactites and stalagmites, while the Fasano Zoo Safari offers fun moments in close contact with animals.
