Masseria Macchiarola

A nice place to stay, with a beautiful room. The pool and ping pong table were great. The manager is very sweet and adapted our breakfast to our liking and cooked us a delicious meal, overcoming the language barrier. The closest town is not very exciting but the Masseria Macchiarola is close to many vineyards and beaches, and is nice to relax at.

Our short stay at Masseria Macchiarola was such a nice time. The host was very friendly and hospitable. She made an amazing dinner for us on the first night and we got to taste all the wines that her brother-in-law makes. He is a natural winemaker and definitely something to ask about. These wines have the same name as the agriturismo. The pool is lovely and with a car, the beautiful beaches are very nearby. Overall, absolutely a place to visit again and I would recommend it to anyone.

A beautiful structure immersed in nature, in a great location, close to the most beautiful beaches in the area, equipped with every comfort and a pool for the exclusive use of guests. The managers were very kind and attentive to our needs.

Clean rooms, although the bathroom is a bit old-fashioned. Small pool. Breakfast to be improved.

We spent 3 nights at Masseria Macchiarola, away from the city and in total relaxation. A few minutes from the sea (reachable by car). Good quality/price.

To say that we have spent three nights at Masseria Macchiarola is an understatement, the three days spent at the property have represented a unique experience seasoned with the most genuine and spontaneous hospitality. Masseria Macchiarola is very welcoming, the owners are helpful and courteous; we were advised by them in every aspect, from restaurants to the most beautiful seaside locations. We spent pleasant time conversing about ourselves, them, and the surrounding area. The location is strategic because, in fact, it is 20 minutes from the well-known 'punta prosciutto' of Porto Cesareo (however, I would strongly recommend trusting their advice to choose the seaside locations) as well as 20 minutes from beautiful Taranto. Furthermore, Masseria Macchiarola is connected to the exquisite wine cellar, Tenuta Macchiarola, where it is possible to taste products vinified according to natural methods; this experience, as well as being suggested, is recommended. Domenico and his passion for natural wine will guide most in the discovery of true Apulian wines (and a different way of drinking). To say that we will return is implied, to say that we will return as soon as possible is certain. As the title says, it was truly a way to feel at home. In Puglia, it will undoubtedly be our future point of reference.

Quest'anno per la prima volta io e mia moglie abbiamo deciso di passare le nostre vacanze in un bed and breakfast, la nostra scelta è stata azzeccata! La Masseria Macchiarola si trova immersa nel verde fra bellissimi uliveti e vigne, la posizione è ottima si trova a pochi km fra il mare e Lizzano, permette di non avere problemi di traffico e di ressa che di solito nel periodo di agosto si trova da tutte le parti. Da questa posizione si possono raggiungere in breve tempo le più belle attrazioni del sud della Puglia, noi abbiamo optato per Alberobello, Gallipoli e Manduria. In qualsiasi spiaggia dove ci siam recati l'acqua era cristallina e facilmente raggiungibile in auto. La nostra camera (mini appartamento) era molto pulita e aveva una terrazza molto grande dotata di un bellissimo gazebo e un tavolo dove poter pranzare o cenare senza problemi. La colazione è abbondante con molta scelta e la presenza di una macchinetta del caffè a cialde è stata molto utile. In camera era presente un climatizzatore che funzionava in maniera impeccabile e nota positiva è stata la presenza di pochissime zanzare, tutte le camere inoltre sono protette con zanzariere. Nota molto positiva è stata la presenza quotidiana dei proprietari, sempre disponibili e con il quale si poteva passare del tempo in maniera molto allegra e spensierata. Che dire siamo stati soddisfatti della nostra scelta e siam sicuri che il prossimo anno torneremo da loro per poter passare un'altra bellissima vacanza!

Posto incantevole immerso nel verde gestito da Domenico e Annamaria, che da subito ci hanno fatto sentire a casa. Producono vini biologici ottimi. Le stanze sono larghe, pulite e abbiamo trovato tutto l'occorrente per il nostro bambino di 1 anno! Assolutamente consigliato.
