Nestled in the tranquil silence of the Rossano hills and surrounded by a twenty-thousand-square-meter natural park, La Piana degli Ulivi is a countryside retreat designed to provide guests with a harmonious experience in nature. Ancient olive trees, silent guardians of tales and seasons, create an authentic landscape perfect for relaxation, leisurely walks, and finding balance between body and mind.

The property features three independent cottages that house six double rooms, all tastefully furnished and equipped with air conditioning, mosquito nets, TVs, refrigerators, private entrances, and en-suite bathrooms. Additionally, there are three apartments ideal for families or small groups, each accommodating up to four guests. Shared spaces, including a large gazebo, a relaxation room, and a fitness area, offer opportunities for leisure and socializing, while the pool with a sun terrace and the wellness cabin—featuring an infrared sauna, a hot tub, and exercise equipment—invite rejuvenation in every season. Younger visitors can enjoy the playground equipped with table tennis, a volleyball court, and shaded areas for safe play.

This family-run establishment is managed by Lea and Mario, who live on-site with their two daughters and are always present with warmth and discretion. Lea is passionate about natural cooking and carefully tends to the organic garden, which supplies much of the produce served at breakfast and dinner, including homemade jams, baked goods, and seasonal vegetables. She offers cooking classes that involve gathering and transforming garden products, creating an experience that blends camaraderie with authenticity. Mario, a nutrition biologist, leads guests on nature excursions and, during the summer, organizes boat trips along the coast with picnic lunches.

The location is ideal for exploring the region's historical and cultural heritage. Just a few kilometers away are the Lido Sant’Angelo beach, the historic center of Rossano with its famous Codex Purpureus, the Amarelli Licorice Museum, the Odissea 2000 water park, and the natural wonders of the Rossano mountains, such as the Abbey of Patire and the Colagnati Valley waterfalls.

Breakfast, served under the olive trees or in the indoor dining area, includes homemade pastries, jams, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, juices, and hot beverages. Dinner, available by reservation, features simple and healthy dishes inspired by Mediterranean traditions.
