In the heart of the Cilento National Park, Vallo di Diano, and Alburni, Casa La Làmia welcomes guests in a beautifully restored ancient stone farmhouse, nestled in a green valley between the hills and the sea. The property features a mini apartment with a kitchen and private bathroom, perfect for families or small groups, along with two spacious double rooms, each with en-suite bathrooms. The entire house is "gas-free" and powered solely by renewable energy sources, equipped with a charging station for electric vehicles and a secure storage area for bicycles and e-bikes.

Every morning, a breakfast is served that includes homemade jams and cakes, accompanied by milk, tea, coffee, bread, yogurt, and fruit juices; a savory option is available upon request. All of this is set in an authentic environment, surrounded by olive trees and fruit trees that provide the property's oil and preserves.

The location allows for quick access to Castellabate, Paestum, Velia, Punta Licosa, Punta Tresino, Acciaroli, and the Blue Flag beaches in the area, as well as historic villages like Perdifumo and Vatolla. Spectacular caves, scenic trails, and the cycling route of the Via Silente enhance the experience of a stay that combines nature, culture, and the sea.

Hey, I'm Patrizia

My name is Patrizia, and after spending many years in Milan, I decided to return to Castellabate, my hometown. Together with my husband Paolo, we have transformed my great-grandparents' countryside home into a cozy bed & breakfast, which opened in 2023 to celebrate our roots. Surrounded by olive trees and fruit trees, we produce artisanal oil and jams that we love to share with our guests, providing an authentic, family-oriented stay immersed in the beauty of Cilento.

Area Campagna

The B&B is located in one of the most picturesque areas of the Cilento National Park, Vallo di Diano, and Alburni, a region that harmoniously blends coastal, hilly, and mountainous landscapes, showcasing a perfect balance of nature and culture. Surrounding the area are golden sandy beaches, steep cliffs overlooking the sea, and charming ancient villages where traditions remain vibrant and hospitality is heartfelt.

Just a few kilometers away lies Castellabate, recognized as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, featuring its medieval historic center, cobblestone streets, and breathtaking views extending to the Gulf of Salerno. The coastline boasts iconic spots like Punta Licosa and Punta Tresino, legendary vistas that overlook crystal-clear waters awarded the Blue Flag. The areas of Santa Maria and San Marco di Castellabate, Case del Conte, and Ogliastro Marina invite visitors to enjoy the sea, whether at well-equipped beach establishments or in untouched stretches of shoreline.

Inland, you’ll find historical treasures such as Paestum, home to some of the best-preserved Doric temples in the world, and Velia, the birthplace of Eleatic philosophy. Close by are the Castelcivita and Pertosa Caves, spectacular underground routes adorned with millennia-old formations. The village of Perdifumo and its district Vatolla provide an authentic atmosphere with significant cultural connections, including the legacy of Giambattista Vico.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the National Park offers a chance to explore scenic trails, nature routes, and the cycling path of the Via Silente, which stretches 600 km between the sea and mountains, providing ever-changing and captivating views. This region is also a bastion of the Mediterranean Diet, which can be savored in typical dishes and local products that tell the story and soul of Cilento.
