"Terra Antica the holiday of true rest"
In the lush green heart of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, along the ancient Via degli Abati, Terra Antica welcomes guests to a serene oasis of genuine nature. Born from the desire for a new life, away from the hectic pace of urban living, this organic farm is passionately run by Fabrizio and Laura, who have been tending to every detail since 2006 to provide a restorative and authentic getaway.

The facility, surrounded by woods, hills, and orchards, offers seven accommodation options, including rooms and eco-friendly chalets, totaling 27 beds. Each lodging is designed to ensure comfort, privacy, and tranquility, featuring amenities such as Wi-Fi, TV, hairdryers, and organic bathroom products. Common areas include breakfast rooms, equipped porches, sun terraces, and relaxation spaces nestled in greenery.

The highlight of the agriturismo is its cuisine: hearty breakfasts made with zero-kilometer products, homemade sweets and bread, jams, juices, and honey produced on-site, along with organic fruits and vegetables grown on the farm's three hectares. The culinary offerings extend to lunches and dinners prepared in accordance with local traditions, using only selected raw materials and authentic ingredients. Vegetarian, vegan, and allergen-friendly menus are available, fully respecting the dietary needs of every guest.

During the warmer months, guests can unwind in the panoramic pool overlooking the apple orchard, enjoy an afternoon snack with drinks, sweets, and fruit, or rejuvenate in the Finnish sauna with a view of the forest or in the massage cabin. Wellness is enhanced by outdoor yoga sessions and walks in the surrounding nature, perfect for trekking and mountain biking enthusiasts.

Terra Antica is also a site of certified organic agricultural production: vegetables, herbs, fruits, nuts, honey, saffron, jams, juices, and artisanal liquors reflect a deep love for the land and a commitment to offering only the best. The on-site bio shop allows visitors to purchase the farm's products and take home a piece of this experience.

Here, every gesture is dedicated to true hospitality and attention to detail, in a setting where time slows down and nature accompanies every moment. A vacation at Terra Antica is not just a stay; it is a return to the essentials, a treat for both body and soul.

"Breakfast and love in farmhouse"
The scents of cakes and biscuits are the sweet awakening, breakfast at Terra Antica is a special occasion, designed to kick off the day with flavor and authenticity. Each morning, you will find a lavish buffet featuring organic and homemade items: freshly baked bread, cakes, tarts, cookies, and plum cakes, all served with artisanal jams and honey from our bees. You'll also find yogurt, cereals, fresh and dried fruits, local cold cuts and cheeses, eggs from our hens, organic apple juices with no added sugars, as well as teas and herbal infusions gathered from our fields. Everything is made with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients, to provide a tasting experience that reflects the region and our passion for hospitality.
The restaurant at Terra Antica serves as the vibrant heart of the agriturismo, where each dish tells a story of seasons, local culture, and a passion for authentic cooking. Everything is made from scratch: bread, fresh pasta, cookies, desserts, and focaccia are crafted daily by Laura, using stone-ground flours sourced from the nearby Mulino della Rocca di Berceto. Ingredients are brought in directly from the organic garden or selected small local producers, honoring traditions and seasonal availability.

At the table, one can rediscover the authentic flavors of the Apennines: mountain cured meats and cheeses, aged parmesan, fresh vegetables, fruits, honey, jams, and saffron produced in-house. The culinary offerings also include vegetarian, vegan, and allergy-friendly dishes, all prepared with the same attention to detail. Each meal becomes a moment of togetherness and discovery in a welcoming atmosphere where taste meets well-being. At Terra Antica, cooking is not just sustenance; it's an experience that leaves a lasting impression.

Hey, I'm Fabrizio

In 2006, Laura and Fabrizio left Milan to pursue a dream: to live in harmony with nature and welcome guests to an authentic and rejuvenating place. Each day, they passionately and dedicatedly manage the agriturismo, the organic garden, the kitchen, and hospitality, paying careful attention to every detail with warmth. Fabrizio, a veterinarian with expertise in beekeeping and agriculture, oversees the farming aspects and honey production, while Laura, who has a background in graphic design and a deep love for interior decoration and cooking, prepares breakfasts and wholesome dishes, always with a smile. Their mission is to make every guest feel at home, providing a simple yet meaningful experience that is in tune with nature and the slow pace of the Apennines.

Area Collina

Terra Antica is located in the heart of the Tuscan-Ligurian-Emilian Apennines, in an area that remains authentic and relatively undiscovered, surrounded by lush green hills, ancient forests, and valleys filled with crystal-clear streams. The establishment is positioned along the historic Via degli Abati, a route that blends culture, nature, and spirituality, making it perfect for those looking to explore the more genuine regions of Emilia.

Just a few kilometers away flows the Taro River, lined with a beautiful cycling path, ideal for hiking or biking adventures. The surrounding area offers numerous opportunities for outdoor activities, including trekking, mountain biking, scenic walks, and foraging for wild herbs. Val Taro is also rich in history and traditions, featuring medieval villages, castles, and fortresses to visit, such as the enchanting Castles of the Duchy of Parma and Piacenza.

Throughout the year, the region comes alive with events celebrating rural culture, culinary festivals, and local markets. Food enthusiasts will find the perfect setting to discover the typical flavors of the Emilian mountains, with excellent products like parmesan cheese, Borgotaro mushrooms, and artisanal cured meats.

This area serves as an ideal retreat for those seeking tranquility, clean air, and a slower pace of life. Staying at Terra Antica means immersing oneself in an untouched natural environment, far from mass tourism, where each season offers its own charm and encourages a deep reconnection with oneself and the surroundings.
