Nestled in the heart of the village of Pianetto, the inn is housed in an enchanting stone building dating back to the 1500s, where the allure of history blends seamlessly with modern comfort. With six meticulously designed rooms and an independent cottage featuring a kitchen, every area is crafted to provide an authentic and relaxing experience. The interiors showcase a careful selection from antiques and artisans, adorned with unique furnishings and works by nationally renowned ceramic artists that enhance each space.

The spacious living room with a fireplace serves as the center of social gatherings, while the pool, steam room, and small wellness center offer opportunities for relaxation. Outside, a lush garden surrounds the inn, creating a peaceful oasis where time seems to flow more slowly.

Surrounded by nature, at the foot of the Casentino Forests National Park, the inn is an ideal starting point for exploring historic villages and art trails, rich in ancient traditions and authentic flavors. A charming retreat, perfect for those seeking a stay focused on wellness and discovery.
Rooms and Rates
Breakfast is currently provided on the ground floor of the inn and consists of: fresh ricotta of the day served with our homemade jams, homemade cakes, seasonal fresh fruit, and, upon request, eggs and local cured meats.
The inn's eatery offers a journey through the authentic flavors of tradition, a place where the past meets the present through dishes that tell stories of the land and its seasons. Here, cooking is about memory, exploration, and passion: each recipe is born from the revival of oral traditions of the region, passed down through generations, and is reinterpreted with respect and creativity.

Local ingredients and high-quality raw materials form the essence of each dish, from the wild herbs that once adorned peasant tables to the chestnut flours that tell the story of these mountains. Each bite is a tribute to Romagna Toscana, a borderland where culinary cultures merge into genuine flavors rich in character.

The eatery's cuisine invites you to rediscover the joy of sharing meals, surrounded by enticing aromas and dishes that vary with the seasons. The summer panzanella, winter ribollita, tagliatelle with prugnoli mushrooms, and tortello cooked on a stone are just a few of the specialties that celebrate an authentic and vibrant culinary heritage. It’s a tasting experience deeply rooted in history, renewing itself every day with passion.

Area Collina

The inn is situated in a corner of Tuscany's Romagna where time still flows in harmony with the seasons. Pianetto, a quaint village with ancient charm, lies at the foot of the Casentino Forests, Monte Falterona, and Campigna National Park, a protected area of extraordinary beauty, home to centuries-old forests, scenic trails, and unique biodiversity. In this place, the silence of nature is only broken by the sound of the wind rustling through the trees and the calls of wildlife.

This region is a true paradise for hiking and nature enthusiasts, with paths winding through beech and chestnut forests, leading to historically and spiritually rich sites like the Camaldoli Hermitage and the Sanctuary of La Verna, where Saint Francis found refuge and inspiration. Just a short distance from the inn, the village of Galeata holds remnants of a millennium-old past: from the Basilica of Sant’Ellero, founded in the 6th century, to the ruins of the ancient Roman city of Mevaniola.

The location is also perfect for those wishing to explore cities of art and culture. Florence and Ravenna, with their Renaissance and Byzantine treasures, are easily accessible, as is the Romagna coast, known for its long golden beaches and vibrant summer atmosphere. The small villages in the surrounding area tell stories of a distant past, featuring castles, Romanesque churches, and artisan shops where time seems to have stood still.

Every corner of this land retains the authentic flavor of a Romagna that was once part of Tuscany, where the cuisine reflects the simplicity and richness of the territory. Here, amidst woods, hills, and ancient villages, each journey becomes an experience to savor slowly, enveloped by the beauty of unspoiled nature and the warmth of enduring traditions.
