Area Collina

The area surrounding the B&B Le Ginestre is one of the most enchanting in Romagna, a region that combines unspoiled nature, ancient history, and authentic traditions. We are located at the entrance of the Valmarecchia, a valley named after the river that flows through it, which for centuries has served as a pathway and meeting point for diverse cultures.

The medieval villages scattered across the hills tell tales of ancient lordships, battles, and legends. Montebello is renowned for the mystery of Azzurrina, the little girl who disappeared in the castle during the 15th century, and whose legend continues to captivate visitors from all over Italy. Torriana, perched in a scenic spot, preserves remnants of fortifications and offers breathtaking views of the valley and the sea. Verucchio, the birthplace of the Malatesta family, boasts a well-preserved historic center, featuring medieval palaces and an imposing castle that overlooks the town. San Leo, situated on a rocky spur, is one of Italy's most beautiful villages, and its fortress, once a prison for Count Cagliostro, provides stunning views of the Montefeltro region.

The view stretches from the sea of Rimini to the towers of San Marino, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and up to Monte Carpegna, a popular destination for hiking and biking.
