Nestled in the tranquil countryside of Lazio, the charming B&B Nero Buono is located in Giulianello di Cori, within a beautifully restored residence that offers stunning views of the Lepini Mountains. Just an hour from Rome and half an hour from Latina, it is the perfect choice for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and reconnect with nature in a relaxed and homely atmosphere.

The property is tastefully decorated in a country-chic style using recycled materials and thoughtful details, welcoming guests into two deluxe rooms situated in the attic, overlooking an ancient olive grove. Each room features a double bed, a sitting area, a desk with complimentary Wi-Fi, a minibar, a kettle with tea and herbal infusions, air conditioning, a TV, a safe, and a private bathroom equipped with a shower, hairdryer, soft towels, and organic toiletries.

The expansive and flower-filled garden boasts a pool with a sunbathing area, a panoramic terrace set up for outdoor dining, and a shared kitchen. The outdoor spaces invite relaxation, whether it's enjoying a good book in the shade, sipping cocktails at sunset, or having barbecues under the stars. Breakfast is a delightful ritual that changes daily, with homemade cakes, freshly baked bread, jams made from the garden’s fruit, and many other specialties prepared by Mena.

Nero Buono serves as an ideal starting point for exploring an authentic area that is still relatively untouched by mass tourism. Within walking distance, the natural monument of Lake Giulianello can be found, while the village of Cori features sights such as the Temple of Hercules, the Church of Sant'Oliva, and the Oratory of the Holy Annunciation, often compared to the Scrovegni Chapel.

Easily accessible are also the Ninfa Garden, the village of Sermoneta with its Caetani Castle, and the Abbey of Valvisciolo, in addition to the Roman Castles and the picturesque Via dei Laghi. For families traveling with children or those seeking alternative experiences, nearby attractions include Rainbow MagicLand, the Valmontone Outlet, and the world's longest zipline, Flying in the Sky, located in the nearby Rocca Massima.

Managed with passion by Mena and Davide, B&B Nero Buono is more than just a place to stay; it is a home away from home, where guests are welcomed as friends and subtly guided to discover the beauty of the surrounding area.
Rooms and Rates
Breakfast at Nero Buono is a special experience, designed to make guests feel pampered from the start of the day. Every morning, Mena prepares delightful homemade treats such as apple yogurt cake, freshly baked bread, and jams made from fruit picked from the garden.

During the warmer months, breakfast is served outdoors on the terrace surrounded by greenery, while in the cooler months, guests gather in the cozy dining room warmed by the fireplace, creating an intimate and relaxing atmosphere.

Hey, I'm Filomena

Mena, a gracious hostess with a genuine smile and extensive experience in hospitality, has spent many years working in prestigious hotels and luxury relais between Sorrento and Tuscany. It was at a Relais & Châteaux where she met Davide, who was then a sommelier at a Michelin-starred restaurant and is now her husband and partner in this venture. Together, they created Nero Buono, infusing the B&B with the same care, warmth, and attention that they bring to their everyday lives. Every detail reflects their style: a homely atmosphere, understated elegance, and a passion for hospitality and the local area. They welcome guests with simplicity and dedication, making every stay an authentic and unforgettable experience.

Area Campagna

The area surrounding the B&B Nero Buono is a genuine and surprisingly rich corner of Lazio, filled with history, nature, and culture. Located in Giulianello, a small district of Cori, it is set in lush and diverse countryside where the vibrant colors of the fields contrast with the gentle outline of the Lepini Mountains. Despite its proximity to Rome, this region maintains a rural and tranquil essence, making it ideal for those seeking a slow and rejuvenating getaway.

Just 5 kilometers away, the village of Cori is one of the oldest in Lazio. Strolling through its cobbled streets, one can feel a timeless atmosphere. Here, visitors can explore significant historical and artistic landmarks, such as the Temple of Hercules, the Church of Sant'Oliva, and the Oratory of the Holy Annunciation, often referred to as the "Cappella degli Scrovegni" of lower Lazio due to its wealth of frescoes.

A short distance from the town center lies Lake Giulianello, designated as a Natural Monument, accessible on foot from the B&B. This body of water, surrounded by trails and cultivated hills, is perfect for walks, picnics, or moments of reflection in nature.

Nearby are some of the most enchanting destinations in central Italy. The Garden of Ninfa, a botanical paradise interspersed with streams and medieval ruins, is regarded as one of the most romantic gardens in the world. The well-preserved village of Sermoneta captivates visitors with its stone walls, Caetani Castle, and the Abbey of Valvisciolo, a rare example of Gothic-Cistercian architecture.

This area also serves as an excellent starting point for exploring the Castelli Romani, including Castel Gandolfo, Ariccia, Nemi, and Frascati, all rich in historic palaces, scenic viewpoints, and traditional trattorias. Shoppers and thrill-seekers can reach the Valmontone Outlet and the theme park Rainbow MagicLand in about 20 minutes. For those seeking adventure, Rocca Massima offers the chance to experience the thrill of Flying in the Sky, the longest zipline in the world, suspended between sky and mountains.

Visiting this part of Lazio means discovering an authentic region characterized by gentle landscapes, historically rich villages, genuine flavors, and heartfelt hospitality. It's a place where every detail tells a story, and each experience leaves a lasting impression.
